Predator Part III

After school was done, Joey left quickly and ran back to his house. "I'm home mom," he called out as he walked through the door. No answer. "Mom?" he looked into the kitchen and the living room, nothing. Running up the stairs, he began to fear the worst. "I'm going to kill him when I find him," he told himself. There was no trace of his mom in the house, with the car still in the driveway, he knew she had to be with Uehara.

He stepped into his room and immediately felt something on his face, he raised his hands and felt a cloth. His head filled with darkness, he passed out.

Joey opened his eyes, to see darkness. He couldn't move and his mouth was taped shut. He began to make sounds and move around in the chair, hoping someone would hear him. "Shut up!" He heard a voice say. He obeyed and became silent. Hands touched his face, but insted of doing harm, the blindfold was lifted off his eyes. He looked around the room, it was very dark, but he could see the person standing in front of him. "Hello Joseph," he heard the man say. His mouth was still taped shut, so he just stared. "Your mother is fine, as long as you do what I say."

Light emerged into the room, someone walked through the door. It was a woman, she had long blonde hair, quite beautiful. She walked over to Joey and took the tape off his mouth. "Don't worry. Your mother will not be harmed if you cooperate." He looked her in the face, but he stayed silent. "What do you people want with me and my family?" he finally managed to say. "You're our ticket to a million dollars," she told him. "How do you expect to get a million dollars by holding me here, I have nothing," he spat back at her. "You're being held for ransom." Joey watched the man leave the room. "Stay here with the kid." he told the woman before closing the door.

He knew he was in trouble. Looking out the window, he saw another building beside him. The window was opened enough for someone to hear him, he just needed to get the woman out of the room. "I'm thirsty." he told her, hoping she would go to the store to buy him something, he recognized it as a hotel room, he doubted she had anything to drink on her. "Okay." she told him, and she walked through the door. "That was easy," he told himself. "HELLO!?" He called, in no general direction. "IS ANYBODY THERE!?"

Just as he finished his last sentence, the woman burst through the door and ran up to him. "Do you want your mother to die kid?" she asked him. "HELP ME!" He called again. The woman pulled a knife from her pocket and put it up against Joeys throat. "One more word, and you'll be sorry."
