I hate voting out newbies before D3, but you've messed up horribly.

That's fine. I'd like to know how though.

Hear, Hear. I second the Kikori Kid motion. And again, no offence. It just makes sense. Rhyming unintentional.

Far from conventional is voting for someone who's known to roleclaim early (me) right after another rookie, let alone in a game where everyone has a custom role that essentially forces roleclaims over time.

Defeat wrote:
Meh. I'm new to this, and it's going to take me a couple o' games to get used to what triggers what, chu know? What you said makes sense, too. Haha. Can you vote for yourself?

So you retract your "hear hear", blame being a rookie, and ask if you can vote for yourself because Steely calls you suspicious. Not the best response you could've had.

Defeat wrote:
No offence taken, but if you go over my posts with a fine-toothed comb, you'll find that I speak a completely different language.

About as random as random can get. I really don't like it when important thoughts are held back.

Defeat wrote:
I think Kikori just might be making up an elaborate story to keep himself off the chopping block. It just seems too....convinient of a story, no?

For saying in a previous post that you were joking, you seem keen to focus on me. What's more, as I explained later, the "Baker" roleclaim would've been a far more efficient keep-me-off-the-radar move (if applied at a better time, anyway), so why would I act how I did at the start of the day?

Defeat wrote:
Oh, man. I'm here to help save, eh? Yes. 'Twas a rookie mafia-GAME mistake. I'll admit to that, but nothing more, nothing less.

For being able to hide something within a 'completely different language', you seem just as keen on blaming mistakes on being a rookie. What else have you done worth admitting to, as well?

Defeat wrote:
I'm just here to help, is all I'm saying. That said, I'm new to the game Mafia, but not part of the Mafia. This is the idea you now have of what I'm talking about.

This is where you start fitting the Mafia-being-a-protective-"villager" figure while you try to hint at being a villager.

I'm fairly certain the past five days don't need much attention. I'm also tired of copy-paste. :P

We've been telling you:
1st thing: Jumped on to vote for Kikori right after Swifty did, without doing much to support the vote.
2nd: When later asked about the vote, tried to brush it off as just a newbie mistake, regardless of the scummyness of it.
3rd: Voted for Paidea based purely on a hypothetical, "If I were mafia..."
4th: Not a strong point but often goes hand in hand with other tells, doing vote counts, etc... In other words, appearing helpful without actually being helpful.
5th: Bad vibrations.

Or what Kikori said. Ninja'd.

Pretty smug for someone being shady themselves. And the nothing to be comment? Seriously.

Defeat, for reasons already stated ad nauseum.
Also, this being your first mafia game doesn't make you any less likely to be mafia. However, it does make your mafia tells more...erratic, in a way, but also more obvious. I won my first game of mafia (as a mafia) by being inactive for days two through four (not on purpose).
Also, backing people up isn't inherently scummy. If anything, it's the opposite; I've seen villagers unknowingly defend mafia several times.
It would be nice if you could stay longer and learn how Mafia works, but given that this is a variant and not an official game, I'm not going to feel too sorry about ousting someone who's either a mafia or a very good red herring.

Rebuttals to your disections:
1.)Oh, yeah. I would know that you're the one to roleclaim early.
2.)Meh. I thought it was a decent response (for my 1st time ever playin' a game like this). Oops...I did it again (no my role is not Britney Spears).
3.)Who says an "importent thought" was needed at this point...You? Fine. No deal.
4.)At that point, you were still all over the place (like I'm being accused of now). Hmm. Happens to the best of us?
5.)Here I feel the need to role claim. There was something you didn't pick up on. "I'm here to save." was the line...therefore...I am Metatron. The highest angel. Some say I'm the voice of God Himself. At night I can save 1 person from being lynched, and @ this point I ask the question: Can I save myself? I am Town affiliated.
6.)See rebuttal #5.

Excellent view. The whole "your mafia tells" thing is not so set in stone. I haven't "told" anything. The way you won your first game is fine and good, but why not jump straight in? Inactiveness as I understand it, is frowned upon in this game, and will result in your lynching.
Obviously I have a lot to learn. That's a given.

You don't know I'm one to roleclaim early, yet you DO seem to know an early roleclaim is apparently scummy.
I don't expect you to know just yet, either, that I like to be "all over the place". Paidea got a good lesson on it last Mafia game, however. :ura:

Elaborate. 'Cause that's very confusing.
At night? Lynches happen during the day.
Assuming your role IS a night role... You have to pick a name, and that person can't be lynched the next following day? If so, that's not a pro-village-only role regardless.

I'll put it to you like it was put to me...
I am aligned with the village. During the night I can protect a player. But anyone that has voted for me is immune to my protection.
In essence, I give divine intervention, but you need to believe in me to get it. Get it?

This is similar to a "lawyer" role in common games, if I'm understanding him correctly. Basically he says who he wants to protect in the night, if they are "lynched" the next day, the lynch doesn't happen and he saves them.

That's my guess.
