Nobody else seems to want to vote for TheAnimal. Or Steely, for that matter. Nor did anyone else have a thought of capitalizing on Steely's thoughts against Paidea.

Mafia naturally wouldn't. Why would villagers with no other ideas need a spark, though? Either everyone's effectively forgotten about this game, or anywhere from one to two of those people are avoiding drawing attention to themselves. I say Animal's a good start to finding that one out.

It seems this happens when 2 or 3 people start fighting among themselves, others don't want to get involved because they fear they will be dragged into the fight and potentially killed. Or people are just being inactive again...

Concerning your desire to lynch Paidea, I still don't fully understand that. From what I can gather you want him dead because he is still alive at this point? Or are you still pushing on him for the D1 post?

As for Steelys post:
Quote:
As for Paidea, don't like the vibe I'm getting from him, don't like how he semi-defended both TheAnimal and Thyker in that post about remaining players. I'm sure I could make a longer post about why I think he's mafia but I don't really have the time to right now. I'm sure this is the pot calling the kettle black twice, but I feel like he's not as analytical as previous games (where he's been a villager) and I am also surprised he is alive this late in the game.

I can see this argument having some weight if it turns out Animal is Mafia, but at this point I don't think a lynch on Paidea would be justified without more than something that could be coincidence for proof. But, if TheAnimal does turn up as Mafia then we know where to look next.

So with that said, TheAnimal is playing this out exactly like he did in the Drunk Driver variant in which he was Mafia. I also don't like how defensive he is getting over the obvious change in his play style as of late, it seems like he realizes that it has changed but is denying it in hopes that people will ignore it.

I concur. We must lynch him now for the sake of the metagame, we MUST teach people that they can't go around claiming "anniversary" and expect leniency. Topsummoner.

Great reasoning, Paidea.

Love sheep, by the way.

Why do I need reasoning when I'm mafia and I just hammered on you to win the game, LOL?

Then there are three mafia left... figures that Tahu would make it a 1/3 instead of a 1/4 game. :|

Figures that I should've gone through with killing Paidea.

Yeah, that's game. For the record, the exact proportion is 31%, so it was between 1/3 and 1/4. I'd heard both as general ratios for mafia numbers.
The villagers decided to lynch Animal, and lynch him they did. After he died, they found nothing in his pockets, so they ransacked his house. Surprisingly enough, he was actually Jackstick. No one knew what he was doing there, but they couldn't figure out what he had been doing; he had probably just been lying low.
TheAnimal, Jackstick, lynched Day 5.
As the six villagers left the house, three of them pulled out knifes, and, as rehearsed, killed the other three in an instant. The bodies of Kikori, Penguin, and Steely lay on the ground as Bluecoat, Paidea, and Scar walked away with a victory.
Roles have been posted on the front page. Jackstick was just a joke role; in all other respects besides his name, he was a villager. Sorry if I interfered too much in this game; I seemed to have inadvertently confirmed some roles. As for the roles, I decided I wanted simple stuff, so I kept it at a doctor, detective, and vigilante for the town and a roleblocker for the mafia. Most of the nights were simple, but Night 4 was crazy. Here's how it went:
Mafia: kill Topsummoner
Top: Kill Thyker
Thyker: Roleblock Kikori
Kikori: Protect Thyker
Thyker actually would have survived, but he roleblocked the doctor...who was protecting him.

shut up Monk, what he said made sense.

Now the LAST day, on the other hand. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

OHAY! LET'S LYNCH ANIMAL FOR BEING A TROLL LIKE ALWAYS BECAUSE THAT'S TOTALLY A PLAYSTYLE CHANGE. IT SURE ISN'T LYLO OR ANYTHING. GEE THIS TRAIN IS TAKING OFF FAST OH WELL.

Lylo - Lynch or lose, the town must lynch a mafia or they will lose.

Actually, I would have laughed pretty hard if the mafia wound up winning because Kikori saved Thyker from dying (why, I have no clue). But irony struck and Thyker roleblocked him.
As for what went wrong, not only did the town not have a D1 lynch, they didn't get a lynch in D2.
For the record, I do not support random/insane/paranoid/naive detectives. That's just annoying, and they can be worse than useless.

Top, you know as well as I do that we're all used to there being the mafia making up as close to 25% of the village as possible. That would have fit PERFECTLY if Tahu made it four mafia instead of 5. This wasn't a definitive Lynch-or-lose situation in our minds, most likely. :?:
