No matter your role, be it vanilla villager, power role or mafia, it's just not a good idea to roleclaim on D1, especially if you don't have to. Would you prefer I had outed my role then Steely, because if you do, I could use some of my OWN backwards logic to call you out on rolefishing or something.

GEE, YOU THINK? Me, finding things to argue about? Isn't that what I kind of TRY to preach EVERY DAMNED GAME I PLAY? Vote for people, make people post, get people to voice opinions and data, and try to work things out from what's posted?

Paidea, question. Have you even followed my playing style during the games I've played? I'm fairly certain I have to go through this every game.

• People have fun the start of day one.
• Some people get serious. I do, too, by voting for someone who has the easiest thing to call any bit scummy / helpful for a lynch.
• People get worked up, post seriously, data is formed.
• I may or may not decide enough has been done to change my target.
• People react accordingly. More data is formed.
• I get called out for being random, and go through this entire thing over and over again every single game.

If the first fifteen times I've gone through this hasn't made it (in your words) blatantly obvious why I vote for so many people this early on in the game, you deserve to get lynched for trying to use it as a crappier excuse to vote for me than my reasons for early votes on others.

And I'm not worked up. ^_^ Just going through with the promise I made a game or three ago that the next time I had to explain my early-game behavior to someone, I'd keep pushing for the person who questioned me to get lynched because I'm kind of tired of saying the same thing over and over again.

To Top, I'd mis-read names on a couple posts and thought you had more jokes with Tanks than you actually did in U-pick. D: So, yeah. I was wrong about that reasoning. However.



Roleclaim. If this is a regular Mafia game, there are two roles that have ALWAYS (to the best of my knowledge) been added to Regular Runevillage Mafia games. Doctor, and detective. If you're vigilante or detective or something like that, why can't you trust a doctor to protect you and make use of your ability?

Yea I will be the first to admit I haven't been into this game before today really, I was hosting a game of Mafia at RHQ so that kinda took my attention over this. That game ended today however, so that won't be keeping me away/distracted any longer.

This is the first time I have seen you explaining to everyone what "you go through", certainly not the fifteenth. There are better ways to create information than appearing over-zealous and putting silly votes on people. That sort of technique certainly doesn't work on me, and it obviously didn't work on Tanksandguns. I put a serious vote on you because I thought your original vote was serious, but since your vote wasn't serious, I don't think you warrant my vote anymore (despite you still voting for me, based on the reason that I wanted you lynched for doing something that you "normally" do. Funnily enough, I don't recall you normally making votes based on floppy arguments, but if you insist that's what you do every game, I won't argue).

Yeah Paid, I can vouch for that being his playstyle. He doesn't vary it much in response to his role, either... kinda frustrating for me since that's my main cue.

So essentially what we can gather from this is that all the current votes except maybe 2 are based on little more than inconsistencies in so called "established" play styles. When in reality, if you look at the past coupkle of games at least,everyone except Monk seems to be following there established norm.

It looked to me like the post itself was directed entirely at Paidea.

I've more than once voted for who's voted for me on previous occasions, so I also know that's in my character for the early game.

Also, everyone -does- have some kinds of tells in the long run for if they're a villager, a special role, or a mafia. So knowing a person's playing style and tells does help find out who's what, if applied right.

As for "only 2 or 3"...

Stolen from Monk. That's a bit more than two or three, y'know.

Riptide. This may look like an OMGUS vote, but I assure you it's not. I don't like the way you're easily influenced by other players, and how you don't give a reason for your vote. If you do give a reason, it's usually very poor, or copied almost verbatim what someone else had just recently said.

I'm more certain about bluecoat at present. Call it intuition.

A FoS that very clearly lacked the letters "FoS" isn't much of a Finger of Suspicion.

Since we basically have the rest of today to get a lynch (since Day Two will about end while most of us are still sleeping), I say we need to pick someone and just get it done.

With that in mind, I'm keeping my vote on Paidea. Hopefully something develops after college is over with.
