If he's neutral it's still one more person that keeps the mafia from winning. Dead weight yeah but we're still better off having him and ignoring him, than we are killing him. If we think it's an issue we can deal with it later or have someone kill him at night, but lynches like this should be for important, opinionated things.

I think there was a similar argument about Jesus in the first Upick. Neutrals can have any number of win conditions. Remember, last game a neutral won just by surviving, then nuked everyone. They may be one more person that keeps the mafia from winning, or they might win if they survive and not count towards the number of remaining villagers as far as mafia winning goes. This is Upick; expect the most unexpected crazy crap you've ever expected.

I agree with Steely. I honestly can't make sense of so many people with such fervent desire to lynch someone who can do us virtually no harm at this point. I'm not sure who I want to vote for at this point, but it's certainly going to be someone who jumped in on the Riptide train.

Anyways, I only suggested it because really we had nothing better to go off of. Neutral isn't pro-town, technically they don't care which faction wins so his survival could potentially pose problems.

As I said we can deal with it later if that's the case, which I doubt. The win condition of almost all the neutrals we saw was just to survive, which is probably the case now. Even if he wins by survival, we've still got a *ton* of time to lynch him, and that makes him a direct opponent of the mafia, giving them reason to kill him, too. And like I'm sure I said the past game or in some other one with a neutral role, it makes for an easy target for all; every single person can vote "Oh let's just be done with him!" It offers nothing in terms of scumhunting. At the time being its just a poor move.

Riptide isn't acting scummy he's acting like he doesn't know what the hell is going on.

And Animal you FoS'ed him without any reason. I realized now I did not put yours and J's posts back to back and you may have been referring to his (His was justified), but I assumed it was an FoS for not wanting to lynch Riptide.

He threw out three (next-to) baseless FOS, and an unbacked vote. Plus he's claiming to be neutral so we don't LOSE anything from lynching him except for the unneeded confusion he always brings with him.

Plus there's always the chance he's lying about being neutral but as it's riptide I doubt it.

I really don't see any BETTER choices right now.
