This is exactly why I voted for him, lets think for a moment. What is a good way to get people to not vote for you? Simple, claim a plausible pro-town power role. Regardless of weather or not he is actually the tracker, my reason for voting was just as sound as anyone elses.

Basically Roleclaiming =/= Roleclaiming. It has happened before, and I am sure it will happen again. Someone is about to get lynched so they come out with a role-claim trying to save their own skin.

I agree, if he is the tracker then we shouldn't lynch him. However, last time i checked "lynch me and you'll regret it" isn't a role-claim. If you notice my post was made before he made any mention of an actual role.



I didn't continue with his lynch solely because he was playing badly, that advice was put there for him alone not to be evidence in any way. You can't deny that's true, if he hadn't put himself in the spotlight like that he could have avoided being almost lynched and outed to the Mafia.

Agreed on Scar. His first today apologised for his low activity levels and how he hasn't found much to comment on so far. That got my hackles up immediately - posting without saying anything useful and there is plenty of stuff to comment on. Not least where he stands on rockrocks. Then after J@nrok votes for him, it looks like Scar realised that here's a chance to off a villager - a villager who's just dropped a hint he has a role. So he goes in for the kill...but now it's backfired because in his eagerness to secure another villager lynch he's exposed himself.

That makes 7 votes for Scar.


No, it wasn't. All of us voted prior to rockrocks claiming. Maybe he is lying - that's possible. But I'm not willing to take the risk of lynching our tracker D2. Your initial vote was after he hinted he had a role - that's excusable, but iffy. Would make more sense to ask him why we'd miss him before adding your vote to the vote pyre. Then after he claims, you maintain your vote on him.

Finally - anyone notice Jay's been very quiet on the subject of Scar (he's been quiet in general...).

Not sure that's fair. He voted for him, then his next post suggested that we shouldn't be too hasty and give Scar time to defend himself, which is a reasonable comment.

Not sure I trust Rockrock's roleclaim. I agree that it's something someone could do last-minute to avoid a lynch, but I also know that I tried to do the same as a detective once (and got lynched in four hours). Not really sure how this'll pan out, so I'll just Unvote.

Well, this'll be short because I have homework before I have to go to work, but my gut instinct on Scar is that he has tunnel vision (this seems eerily similar to some things I've done). However, I've been absent for a lot of this and will probably be absent for the end of the day, so I'll be changing my vote to Scar for the sake of a lynch. Tunnel vision or not, you don't press harder when someone hints at a role (basically, same reason as Monk, which was J@n's reasoning first). Also, I'm not too happy with the defenses presented, and won't be around to see anymore today.

My next choice though is J Assassin, who it seems like isn't providing much this game. He's been pretty aggressive without saying much. Needless to say, I'm suspicious of Top Too, but I'm not going to beat that horse.

I to would like an explanation from Sweep.

Since it looks like I very well could die, when i turn up innocent look at Sweep. That would be quite the cover story if he(?) jumped in to try and defend me/side with me before I was lynched. If Sweep is Mafia, he would know I'm a townie and thus would know it was safe to defend me and make himself look pro-town when I come up innocent.

Also, this seems to bear saying now since we are down to 2 hours left, and this is going to make me look real stupid. But I am the Town Drunk, each night I can choose one person and block any and all powers they may have.

I can block a night kill, if the person I choose is the one sent to kill.

I know, I know. Desperate grasping at straws and all that...
