Okay, I just heard a CD from Dragonforce, and they actually admitted that they actually use the studio to make their music sound faster. I was surprised to hear it, because it would have been so cool for people to actually play at that speed. My friends call them "Studioforce" because of what they admitted.

They use video game sounds in their music.

Their newest album is called ULTRA BEATDOWN.

They have numerous songs with "Fire and Flames" in the title.

Also, a song called "STRIKE OF THE NINJA."

Finally, (this does not include chorus repetitions)

That's true, Hostile Amish. And they can make really cool sounds with their guitars. They have the honesty in them to tell the truth even though everyone knows it. And Andrey, where did you get that chart? It is very described.

I think I saw that once on a certain website that I can not say in public because it is too inappropriate. The only thing I will say is that it parodies Wikipedia

Yeah, I saw a live version of Through the Fire And Flames on Youtube once, where they actually tried playing at that speed.

Needless to say, I'll not go to any Dragonforce concerts :-s

All-in-all they're pretty good though, but not as good as other power metal bands, such as Blind Guardian or Metallica.

Oh man, I heard DragonForce was terrible in concert, but I would totally go see them if the chance presented itself.

I dunno why but they sound odd to me and I dislike them.
But interestingly I like that they manned up and said they used a computer to help.

Metallica=Thrash Metal.
Never really liked DragonForce, all their songs sound the same. And like the chart said, they over use words, ALOT.

Dragonforce uses all the same noises, that's what my dad says. That they keep having the same beat to all their songs. I think a band should have difference between their songs. And 5l1pkn07, Slipknot rules!

You can see the website if you look up the jpg properties :D :D ^_^;

We all knew it..... But it's still disappointing now that it's proven/admitted..

Wait, I just found out the source, now I think the chart is inaccurate. :P

They're called dragonforce because the songs are written from the point of view of a dragon.

They're still talented, even if they do speed it up, not a fan though.

tru :wink:

You post that picture in every single dragonforce topic that has been posted. It's getting pretty old... -_-

I really could care less if they use studio effects, the band is still fun to listen to every once in awhile. I find their music videos funny to watch because of how corny they can be :lol: They're definitely not top X band material though, but give them some credit :P.

That's my point. What's your point?

And if it's getting pretty old, that should tell you quite a bit about the amount of Dragonforce topics being posted.

Especially since this comes from someone naming them self after--or...at least trying to--a sub par group whose talent only lies in it's individual members outside the band.

Now anyways, Dragonforce aren't my favourite band, but they're no means bad. :lol:

On the whole speed thing, they should take some lessons from Tommy Emmanuel.
