Anyone still interested in the book club idea? I'd be willing to set something up.

Are you referring to this one, or something new?

Yeah, I was referring to that idea. Though I was thinking rather than a topic, a usergroup where a different person would choose a book each week or two. I'd start by listing books for a few weeks until we have a comfortable amount of members, and then it'd be other people choosing the books usually.

I'm more or less running it, if you can count "waiting for people to post about the story" as running it.

Oh, so it still exists? Wasn't aware of that. I still think it should be a more regular thing, like a book every week though, with a requirement of reading one every 2/3 weeks for those that can't.

Just a word of advice; if the topic fails (and it had so much support, in Hiker's Campfire AND here) you might have a really hard time convincing admins to make a whole usergroup out of it. :|

Well to be perfectly honest, I haven't had much time for reading lately. And I have so many unread books lying around my room that I wasn't overly eager to go buy a new book to read for the book club.

I was into the idea but with college I have other things to do ;_;

And Kami we'd clearly read Marvel Comic Books

Alright. I can sort something out. Though it might have to be books I've already read for the first couple/few weeks since I'm busy reading all of Castaneda's (very interesting, but usually in a book club you read *different* books, not 8 books in a series by the same guy :P) books.

I'll make a new topic if/when I've come up with something :)
