Quote:
The night creeps up behind me...
My sight! The bright screen blinds me.
And yet I write. It's hot so I turn off my light and type with all my might. I write...
despite the fact that I have nothing left to say.
The education system fights my will, it spites me, and I give in, for now, 'til someday.
--------------------------------------------
My sleep did not restore me, and now these books can only bore me.
I want to leave it all behind, to get the language out of sight.
Go on, my words, take flight, take flight!
LAND on that accurs-ed light, my pale white screen, ready, waiting... while I try to stop procrastinating.
--------------------------------------------
English homework, the worst of it's kind, occupies the dark depths of my mind.
I want to read but I cannot; my eyes feel blind.
All summer we spent waiting, waiting, waiting...
What hath our waiting brought? What had we sought?
Did we realize we were procrastinating?
So off to the moon I go! I am bringing a rock and a bow.
Seek help from Edward, he will know.
--------------------------------------------
Oh I am screwed.
The teacher wants the meaning of all these books construed,
and I'm just not in the mood.
--------------------------------------------
It's dark outside. I sit, I try to do my work, it lurks around me, surrounds me, astounds me in its massive volume, insurmountable, seemingly inflating every minute, I can't beat it, and the heat it just keeps rising as my thick computer case embraces all the idleness and spews out wave and breeze of heat and dust to-wards my seat.
--------------------------------------------
My time's but almost up. I fear this is my final drop. I'll hit the floor and break my head. I'll be like dead, but worse, it's like a curse, never fading, this procrastinating, from my heart. If only, if only I could go back in time and start, just once again. I want to go and tell myself... Begin! Commence! One day is not enough, divide your work, divide it up! It's only common sense! Oh wait... Too late.

Quick notes:
Edward - friend of mine. Both he and I get asked a lot of homework questions by all our classmates online because we're at the top of the class.
Moon - there's a game where the whole point of it is to figure out how to play it. You say "I'm going to the moon and bringing Blah and Blah." Everyone has to figure out what things they are allowed to bring. Don't know if anyone here's heard of it.
Common sense - everyone that knows me in real life says I have no common sense
