As most of you are probably aware, a new RV Chat is soon to be released. So I thought I'd give you guys a sneak peak, and also, get your opinions on some of the stuff, so that I can try and accommodate for them before the release (which I hope to be within the next couple of weeks).

Here's a couple of pictures:
Image
This is the basic interface for chat, where you'll be doing your chatting. It'll look a little different in the final version, but I think you get the jist.
Image
I'm affraid there is also no hex code entering for you font colour, so I've tried to accomodate for as many colours as I can. Above is the colour chart for chat.

Post your requests for pics, or anything comments you want to post here.

Damn it... the adress tricked me >_>

Is it possible to move the smilies and button between the box you type in and the box that shows the chat.

Rest looks neat :)
What's the big improvement though?

It looks good, mogo!

Hmm... The control panel on the right should probably be in a separate section probably underneath the online users.

Also, is there any way you can adjust the font size of all the text in the chat? I'm not too fond of huge text, lol.

Probably should have a link to the Rules and Instructions somewhere too.

The control panel you see there is contractable. It just automatically opens when you log in. The main control panel actually appears over the online users list.
the rules and Instructions will be given my MogoBot when you log in.
Text, you can edit via your browser, as it's all normal text!

RV's Ajax chat is near completion, and therefore has been moved to the RV server. If you are supposed to be here, you can find a post in the appropriate forums to locate chat, if not, how did you get here...? Either way, you'll have to wait!

:(

Mogo, never host your avatar in the same directory as the top-secret chat ;)

Runevillage the forum is pretty well much done. Runevillage the group will eventually die, but as long as we're still friends with each other in the end, it's still a pretty big thought in our heads. Runevillage the family is forever, no matter where we settle down. If absolutely nothing else ever comes of Runevillage in the future, that alone is a pretty damn awesome thought.

Lol, i put that avatar there after I'd moved it. main reason, I only had access to that directory from where I was at that time.

Is there any way to change the black background of the chat? I'd love to have the option to use the old grey background, for nostalgic reasons.

Looks great!

Edit: Is that 'Style'?

meepbots chat looked exactly the same as sigma chat, it wasn't anything special I don't know why you want the new one to look like that, rv is supposed to be moving forwards not backwards.

Well, I'd simply like to have the option to use the same color as the former Meepbot's Chat, just for nostalgic purposes, the black never really appealed to me after the former chat. (And I don't imagine it would be very difficult to add a grey option, eh?)

But I'm all for stepping forward, we just don't have to forget the past in doing so ...

Just because some people want a different color option, doesn't mean we're, "moving backwards."
