You lost the little respect I had for you when you took off all high and mighty.

And I have no idea what you think trolling is, but here is a wiki quote.
"A troll is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community... with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion."
Been trolling forums? Nice :-s

You haven't earnt my forgiveness by coming back and blaming you real life forgiveness it'll take a great deal more than that.

Trolling probably wasn't the right thing to say. But lurking doesn't quite sound right either....

King, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. In case you didn't already know, forgiveness takes a long time. Even if you've done nothing wrong in the past, that doesn't mean that you'll necessarily be let off the hook for a first offense. When I was banned from chat, I was like you -- I wanted to pretend that what happened wasn't that big of a deal and that everyone would be forgiving. I soon found out that this was not the case.

I had been a member at Runevillage for two and a half years when the incident happened. I had never gotten into trouble before (I had never even had a warning), and yet I learned that no matter who you are, you have to take responsibility for your actions. I still have no idea why I did what I did, but I do know that being banned from chat for over a year and a half was not fun. A lot of things in life aren't fun, but in the end you have to deal with them. I eventually learned to accept what had happened, and moved on. If you can do the same, then in time others will forgive you.

I never though I'd say this about one of your posts, but that was amazing. o.o

It's true king, no offence but you just keep on doing this, and it's a matter of time till we lose interest.

If I assumed the worst about you, it would be Attention-seeker.
Just for me and perhaps a few others, don't keep doing this, like Tru said. Stick with us or Tip.It, you choose.

To be honest, the Tip.It community isn't quite the community i want to be, hence why i've chosen to come back to RV instead of stay at Tip.It... :|

To me it seems like you can't make up your mind about anything; every time I look in LL you have another topic with the same story, just a different title. This won't score you many popularity points, and it doesn't take a genius to figure out plenty of people are annoyed by it...

If you truly have made up your mind to stay at RV, so be it, but like others have said, it's going to take a lot for people to change their opinion about you...

Lose interest in the King? Never!

Seems like he still can't count to four though, because he stayed away for 1,2,3 weeks before losing count and coming back :P

I didn't see whatever happened, sooo I can't express my opinion on that.

Welcome back King.

Also, to clear up any confusion about my rank (or now lack of one), i handed in my staff rank.
Quote:
EDIT: The123king requested not to get this rank.

There was really no point of me having the staff rank in the first place. I worked my ass off for the vilage for 3 months and then lost all interest in doing anything at all really. i know a lot of people who deserve staff more than i did, and a lot of people who would appreciate the rank more than me, and so i decided that i would take the oppertunity of being given a "new" rank to hand my staff rank in. It was a conscieous decision i made a long time ago, and i tried to get it impemented, but the whole atitude that the post was made (in my classic leaving-post attitude) made the admin team think "does he really mean what he said?". I did. They told me that a fix was on it's way to sort out this problem, and that fix was "Staff Elder". It totally defeated the object that i was aiming for. I didn't want a rank anymore, i didn't want any responsibility anymore, and i get lumped with a rank that doesn't change the responsibility i held, really.

So i handed the rank in. Back to good ol'e Sorceror of Saradomin for me :D

Although it will be pretty insignificant to the people you have hurt, I believe this was a move in the right direction by you. Then again my opinion isn't really valid because I have no ties to this situation ^_^;

I still struggle to see how they gave it to you in the first place, though. (This comment is directed more at the administration than you)

I think you missed the point. Entirely, actually.

Elder is a position that is granted for yes, retiring, but also for being a respected member of Runevillage, whether it be Staff Elder or Moderator Elder. I do not understand why you were elevated to such a position after what transpired following all your 'good deeds'. Why has the honour not been bestowed on others in a similar situation?

I misread your post, i thought you were moaning about why i got Village Staff, i apologise. :(

But i agree withyou on the point of Staff Elder though. I was suprised to get it myself. One villager who deserves the Staff Elder rank the most is Tship, and i don't se him with a Staff Elder rank.

No problem King, perhaps I wasn't clear to begin with :)

I do not have a problem with you personally by the way, it is not my place to judge you for what you did. I just find it hard to get my head around that you were rewarded after it.

Even though I know that you disagree, but I think you should have Staff Elder. There's so much work that you put into it, and you do deserve to have that rank. I'd wish that you would reconsider.
