Yeah, I'm pulling out to. A whole page with TWO in context posts? Battlefield is dead to me.

I'd just like to note that before Tahu started joining in these, no one argued about anything, and we actually got things done.

OOC: Umm, Tahu, how would you duck behind the corner if I'm directly infront of the corridor, despite being a ways away? The shrapnel would still be able to hit you.

OOC: Wait, you're directly in front? Somehow I got the idea that you were moving perpendicular to the corridor after you got into the main room. You must have been, because I've been using that corner for partial cover for the past several exchanges.

Tacgnol glanced around his little cell. Deciding it was a boring place; he began elongating his stomach in a manner that in which he could look out of this portal that had appeared.

Looking out, he viewed strange happenings and his bff longcat.

Screaming out so that all could hear him the words; "LONGCAT I LOVE YOU!" were evoked.

OOC: Ok, to speed this along, I'm going to accept Rat's position. I have more tricks up my sleeve.
BIC: Trouble decided to use an old Recon trick. Pulling out a fizzer, he loaded it into his gun and shot it at the floor along with a normal beam. Result: Massive amount of steam and evaporation shimmer. When it cleared, Trouble was nowhere to be seen.

OOC: Alright, since Kool quit...

IC: The bolts from Little Joe hit right on target, distracting the man long enough for The Fear to shoot a bolt from William Tell. A bolt loaded with the poison of the Brazillian Wandering Spider. As the man clutched at his throat, gasping for breath, before falling to the ground.

The Fear glanced around for another target.

As Jin Kariya fell to the ground, a brief bleep was heard, and the computerized voice spoke again. "Did you know you can donate one or all of your vital organs to the Aperture Science Self Esteem Fund for Girls? It's true!"

Meanwhile, Chell shot a portal underneath The Fear, and then shot another above an incinerator.

Suddenly, the ground underneath The Fear gave way, but The Fear was able to grab on the edge of the floor. Ahead of him was a woman in an orange suit, and in the distance, there was... his legs, hovering over a pit. Judging by the heat, it must be a furnace of some kind.

This was not a familiar technology to The Fear, so he might be a disadvantage, but still...

The Fear, using his abnormal strength, pulled himself out of the portal, into a handstand, an uneven one at that, considering William Tell was still in his right hand. The Fear flipped forward, pulling out and loading a bolt into Willaim Tell in the air. Landing on his feet, he fired the bolt at the woman, before unhinging his elbows and swinging them in a windmill pattern, with his lengthened and forked tongue hanging out.

Chell quickly shot the portal hanging above the furnace at the ceiling slightly up ahead, while shooting the other at her feet, causing her to fall through it, and ended up on the ground beneath the one located on the ceiling, while the arrow shot over the place Chell's head was located not too much earlier. She then deactivated both of the active portals, and fired a blue portal at The Fear's feet again, directly followed by shooting the orange portal straight above it.

The ground gave way again, but The Fear was prepared, and had leapt to the side the moment the woman fired her strange gun. As he fell to the side, The Fear noticed the woman's plan. She was trying to make him fall infinitley. Clever. Leaping back to his feet, The Fear activated his stealth camo.

Moments later, he reapeared behind the woman, William Tell to her head, bolt loaded. "Can you feel The Fear?"

Lowering her gun-arm seemingly in defeat, Chell shot the blue portal at her own feet, and after falling through the orange portal, quickly shot the blue portal at the ground beneath her again, causing her (And The Fear, since he was right behind her when she fired the portal) to be stuck in an infinite portal loop.

After the infinite falling had accelerated her quite a bit, she shot the orange portal at a nearby wall, causing her to fly out at the same speed she fell into the blue portal at.

OOC: Chell would survive that fall because of her heelsprings.

OOC: You seem to have gone a little too far ahead. The Fear would be able to make a move before you do all of this. Like so.

IC: As expected, the woman fired a portal. Not as expected, however, is that she took The Fear with her through it. The moment they began to fall, The Fear firmly grasped her shoulder with his left hand, and steadied and fired William Tell with his right.

As soon as The Fear grabbed her shoulder, Chell used grabbed his arm with her own, and used it to push herself further away from The Fear diagonally down, causing her to hit the edge of the lower portal, and fall onto the ground. Crawling up again, she backed up slightly, waiting for what would happen.

The woman's push pushed, The Fear's falling angle changed to slightly diagonal, though he was falling backwards toward the edge. Activating his stealth camo before dislocating his elbows again, The Fear pushed his weight back in an attempt to move into a slightly more horizontal position, before grabbing the back edge of the portal with his hands.

Ouch. The Fear's fingers nearly broke, or maybe they did, he couldn't tell. The momentum of the fall swung him back, and he fell onto the ground behind the portals, catching the edge having absorbed most of the impact. William Tell was now infinitley falling between the two portals. Damn. That would give him away.

Stealth Camo still on and draining his stamina, The Fear drew Little Joe, and moved quickly and almost silently behind the woman, before firing three bolts at her back from Little Joe. There would be no mercy now.

OOC: Since Rat hasn't posted in forever, Trouble's just going to shoot at him now.
BIC: From near the ceiling, Trouble Kelp unshielded for accuracy and took careful aim at the Mud Man before firing a single shot at maximum power.

OOC: Ok, this topic may be close to dead, but Rat's four days are up. Hopefully this will get more people back into the roleplay.
BIC: The neutrino beam hit the Mud Man squarely in the chest, knocking him flat and crisping him to a cinder. he was most definitely dead. Trouble looked around for any more combatants.

Chell, having noticed that The Fear escaped from her infinite fall, had quickly shot the blue portal to the center of the room, and shot the orange one right beneath her, making her fall to the center, where she quickly deactivated her open portals. Looking up, she noticed a fair amount of Weighted Storage Cube Distributors.
