I'm sure the spell Teleport to Ape Atoll is missing here in the Standard Spellbook? ;D

Also I think Bounty Locate might be missing.

That's some pretty nice coding. :o

If you can get me a picture of Ape Atoll Teleport (just the spell-icon, if you could also get a picture teleporting to it, that would be amazing, but don't feel required) and apparently the Bounty Hunter Locator spell-icon (and teleporting optional also) I'll update the spells for you.

It seems it needs an update to the interface also, I'll see what I can do there..

35x29 for spell-icon.

I know this is a somewhat old topic, but since no one has gotten the image yet, I decided to do it myself! :D

First, here's the spellbook with most of the spells illuminated:

And the Teleport to Ape Atoll image by itself:

Well, we need it non-transparent, but the other image is perfect. :)

I'll make the correction now, thanks bart and Blitz. ^_^

Edit: Not going to happen, unfortunately. The code is rather advanced, and I'd rather not touch it. And unfortunately, the images are not transparent, so we would have to redo all the code, and then redo every individual spell image in both highlighted and non-highlighted versions. Which would be a lot of images.

And, we're going to be redoing the whole guide for RV2.0, so it would need to be trashed eventually, I'd assume. But I'll add you both to the list of Special Thanks anyway, you went out of your way (and even further) to help the site, and that's really appreciated.

I don't intend on keeping the magic guide as it is now. It is simply too complicated to keep it up to date :( It's a shame, but there's no other solution.

I know nothing about how the magic guide works, but why is it so hard to add an image? :-s

Anyways, if you want me to make all of the current images transparent, I'd be more than willing to do it. :D

Have you taken a look at the guide? :P There's over a hundred images in those spellbooks alone  It's nice to see that scroll effect, but if people would want to print it out, it wouldn't even work, so meh. (that's what I want to achieve with RV2.0 as well: each page must be perfectly printable).

HOLY MOLY!!! O____________o

I can see why it must be so hard to modify. :P In the RV 2.0 version, will there just be a list of all the spells, with their descriptions and required runes written next to them? Pictures of each spell being cast aren't even that important.

I don't think it's been decided yet, as we've yet to work on it (unless Glode is doing otherwise) but I'd assume we'd use a table.

Spell Image - Name - Level Required - Description/Effect - Required Runes

Or something along those lines, the JavaScript really isn't needed. Tables would be a lot easier to modify, and apparently printable. :)

Yeah, that's what I assume it will look like as well. Not only would it make it printable, but it will also make the guide usable in browsers that don't support Javascript.

I haven't worked on a single guide for RV2.0. All I've been working on lately was getting the Database Management pages done and looking into how to do certain features.

Okay, I was just curious. Working on that is probably the equivalent of dozens of guides anyway. ^_^

I'm currently working on redoing all the skill guides as a project, and skill guides with the Guide Writers team. With any luck we can have both those projects finished for RV2.0's release, and then I can have time to rework some of the quest guides also.

That only leaves Guild Guides, Achievement Diaries and Special Reports. The first two shouldn't be very difficult to complete, Special Reports may be, but there's not really a rush for that.

We seem to be on the right track. :)
