[RP] Battlefield IX: The Game

Ike's sword went clean through Nnoitra cleaving him almost perfectly in half. Leaving the head on the the right side of the body.

"Father... I've come to-"

Ike looked over where his father had been and his eyes widened.

"Father!? FATHER!!!!!!!!"

Greil was lying on the ground motionless. A hole through his body. Enraged Ike kicked Red Mage a few feet away and shoved Kamina away with his shoulder as well. He lifted his sword into the air and as Nnoitra let out a faint laugh, Ike ended it all. He plunged his sword into the face of his father's murderer and an explosion came from the cut, enveloping Ike and Nnoitra in flames, blasting the skull to pieces. Ike swung his sword to the side getting the blood off and ran to his father's body. He held the corpse in his arms leaving his sword on the ground next to him.

"Father... not again... I couldn't save you... why... why is this happening again?"

A tear ran down Ike's cheek and landed on his fathers chest, going down the hole the bullet had created.

Red Mage, after being knocked to the side, saw as Big Sword obliterated Scythe Man, before running over to his father. Red Mage scrambled over to Fancy Sunglasses, and spoke quietly. "He's... pretty strong... We best not get him angry... He might be even stronger than both of us together..."

Nice save at 93/96 hours, lol.

I...dunno. Everything Glitch does (besides that cutter thing, really) is made up of 'energy'. In this battle, that energy's been able to act along the same frequency (so to speak) as a lightsaber or a ray gun. So if the Force can deflect ray gun laserbeams, then I guess it could deflect this too. This thing's pretty freaking huge, though; as you can see, it not only struck Megabyte but plowed him into the ground for several feet, tearing it up as it went by. I guess Vader's pretty well-versed in the ways of the Force, but I would guess it'd take a lot of Force to turn this attack around. (Like stopping a semi or something, I would think.

)

To be fair, you can't ask for clarification and expect that to save you. To quote the rule,

OOC: Yeah sorry, I was unexpectedly unable to get on the PC yesterday, due to going to Warner Bros.

IC: Vader noticed a large ball of energy being formed and heading towards him, fast. Knowing he wouldn't be able to dodge it completely, he jumped aside to avoid major damage, the energy blasting against his legs and sending him to the ground spinning. "You will pay for what you did." Vader said, and used the Force to pull Bob towards the lit lightsaber in his hand.

OOC: Sorry again for the horrible lack of posts.

Ok, since this is dying fast, can we have BFX now? Only two IC posts have been made in the past five days. I'd be passionately arguing for tougher enforcement of the three-day rule about now, except NO ONE'S ATTACKING (except Vader; Jaron, you might fall prey to your own rule).

OOC: Then what? when that one goes 2 days without anything happening we move on to BFXI? then BFXII???

I guarantee if we started ending battlefields and jumping to the next one that people would stop joining. Just sit back and wait patiently.

1) No, it doesn't work like that.
2) It's a four-day rule, not a three-day rule.
3) I've had some pretty crazy stuff happening IRL lately, but I'm still fully aware of when my last post was.

Okay, news time. Seven people remain; Stip's fighting me, Antic's fighting Crafty, and Zeta/Top/Pyro are together. Antic's exams should be over, and Zeta hasn't posted in a week. The bad news is I'll be gone for nine days starting tomorrow. Sorry.

Anyway, Stip's totally owning me, I doubt Bob will be going much further. Crafty needs to shoot Antic, and something needs to happen with Zeta/Top/Pyro's group or something.

Bob landed where he wanted to, but suddenly found himself moving towards Vader--who had his beam sword outstretched! Bob dug his heels into the ground, but as if he was losing a game of Tug 'o War, he kept automatically moving towards Vader. "Not good...this is NOT GOOD!" he said to himself, coming ever closer. OOC: So like, his arms are outstretched but Vader's pulling on him, kind of like the end of the movie Twister. ^_^;

I found this clip of the very first episode of Season 2 of Reboot. I recommend watching 1:50 to 2:24 if you can, it containes the lightpost I used. :mrgreen:

(It's certainly planted in the ground enough if a flying Megabyte didn't budge it!)

Now, past that...

Bored of flying around, Hexadecimal landed in the middle of the group of three allies--Ike, Red Mage, and Kamina. "I've noticed a distinct...lack of activity around here," she said, scowling. "You wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you?" Waving her hand, a ball of light appeared where she was standing, in the middle of the three of them. It began to pulsate. "I suggest you move. Ta-ta!" she cackled, jumping up and flying off to visit Gray and the Apprentice next.

OOC:

Although I know Pyro and Top are active, all three of you need to post and move away from that bomb. If Zeta doesn't post within 96 hours (four days) of this post, he's dead. I'll deal with Crafty/Antic when I return on the 15th (if they're still idle.)

Well...maybe walk around the ice wall, see the cannon, get mad, and attack him hoping he doesn't respond in four days? 8-[

Only if you don't care about the truce. Otherwise I'll have Hexadecimal move in on June 15th, that'd give him ten days to decide if he wants a truce or not. It's totally your call.

Red Mage saw the orb of light drop into the center of the three of them. "That can't be good... move!" said Red Mage, running back a good distance before looking back. "Fancy Sunglasses, get out of there!" Red Mage saw Big Sword was still mourning over his father. "Big Sword, you have to get out of there, I have a bad feeling about that light..." He drew his sword just in case.

As he continued to concentrate on using the Force to pull Bob towards him, Vader crawled back on his feet, and slowly began to walk towards Bob, his lightsaber still aimed at the direction he was pullig the blue-skinned being in. "This is a fight you cannot possibly win. Surrender to me, accept your fate."

Ike closed his eyes from the pain he was feeling inside.

"I can't take you with me father... this is another goodbye..."

Ike got up to his feet leaving his father on the ground. He took his fathers sword and began to flee the area with the mage and Kamina. As the bomb exploded Ike and the mage fell to the ground and rolled. He looked over and saw a barren area of brown. Nothing left in place. He walked over to where he was sure his father had been and lunged the Regal Sword into the ground marking the area as a grave. Though it was more of a memorial now that there was no corpse to bury.

"Alright... let's move on..."

Ike looked to the mage and noticed that Kamina wasn't there. Ike looked down to the ground and spoke to himself.

"It couldn't be helped. Everyone here has to die somehow anyway."

Ike then looked at the mage.

"You see that large wall of ice? there are two people over there. We can't let them team up. If we take them out now while they're apart we won't have to worry about them later. I'll take the one that made the wall. Take my hand. I can get us on top of that wall like it's nothing. Then I'll attack the one that made the wall and you can take that other goon."

"Fancy Sunglasses!" shouted Red Mage as Big Sword pushed him to the ground, followed by the light exploding. As the smoke cleared, all that remained were his fancy sunglasses. Red Mage ran over and picked them up, and then moved over to the sword Big Sword impaled in the ground, and balanced them on the hilt. Red Mage returned to Big Sword and spoke. "Alright, ready..."

Ike took the mages hand and in two blurs of motion they were on top of the large ice wall.

"Alright. You take the weird one that's staring at the wall. The ice guy is mine. I have eruption so that might be an advantage. I don't know anything about the other one but you have a bunch of spells right? You'll be fine."

And with that Ike pushed the mage off of the wall on the side that vader's apprentice is on.

"Alright... I've never fought a naked guy before"

OOC: why does someone ALWAYS have to end up naked on battlefield???

Suddenly, Big Sword pushed Red Mage off the wall and he fell towards the ground. "Ice 1!" shouted Red Mage, forming a ramp of ice that was attached to the wall of ice. He landed on it and flew off, flipping through the air and landing a good ten meters away from the guy at the foot of the wall.

Without heisitating, Red Mage simeotaniously drew his sword and fired a Ice-2 at the man (Aprentice)

OOC: This should be fun. I sense some wicked tag-team battles coming on...
