Hello my fellow RV'ers

Yes, after many months away trying to earn a crust I have returned to my old haunts here at the Village. I have shaken the sand out my ears and am now ready to settle down to life back home here in sunny(ish) Spain.

During my contract, I was joined by my partner, we had a lovely apartment and as we sat at dinner one night I finally plucked up the courage to ask her to marry me. I am delighted to say that she said Yes! We have (she has decided) that we will be married on my 50th birthday in November. We have also decided (she has decided) it will be a small ceremony for family and close friends. We have (yeah ok you get the picture by now) applied to have our ceremony on our favourite beach just up the coast from Malaga. Should be fun.....

So, if any of you are worried about being left on the shelf, I am a shining example that there is always hope!

I am so happy to be telling you all this. I have been around here for so long that I really feel part of the woodwork and having some really good news to share with you is a great feeling. Even after losing my first wife a few years ago, there is always happiness to be found. Never forget that boys and girls.

I have given up with RS but I hope to be around the village and will post the piccies of the wedding as and when.

Oh yes Zilla, it wasnt chosen as the date so that my old brain would only have one date to remember! Cheeky!
