Is there anyway that there could be Rank Images made for the number of years a user has been a member of the village, like each year would have a different color or something? Since the custom images don't currently exist? Just a thought.

Thats interesting. Like maybe there could be a rank for someone who's been here for a long time. Like oh say maybe 8 years as an example. The Rank could possibly be like Senior Member or something like that

I've already used just about every popular color, so if this actually happens then theres no way I'd be able to make a color for every year or every few years; it would probably have to be the same color for every year.

Anyway, I'll wait until an admin posts here to decide if this is necessary.

I thought Rank images were more something to let people know what you're involved in. Stuff that isn't clearly visible.

Join date is right off to the side of every post, so it may seem a little repetitive.

Agreed. The rank images are there to show users what usergroups you are in, and what activities you are involved in behind the scenes, not to show off. I think the rank images sounds be counted as recognition, much like the Village Staff rank; you recieve the rank if you are hard working on maintanence forums.

But like Why said, the join date is literally a few pixels to the left of the post, its not really worth designing a new rank image solely for that.

I don't really think that's necessary. The vast majority of users who are here for several years receive a special rank anyway.

And remember, Custom Titles aren't an impossibility. We've located the hack to be installed, we just have no one to install it for us.

It's exam time, so a lot of people aren't around.

And while there are probably many people at RuneVillage who could do it, and sometimes it would be nice, FTP access can't just be given to anyone. There has to be complete trust, which is why it's only given to admins. The damage people could do isn't worth a custom title. And if any non-admin ever were to get it, it would probably be Gamey and/or TAI as they are Staff Moderators and in charge of guides (Which is the position Lord Thief and Glodenox were originally in).

But Glode will be back soon enough anyway. There are many other ways to help until then.
