Wow, I feel honoured to get chosen for this position. I didn't really expect it as I hardly ever post, but this just proves you don't need high post count to get a rank.

Very well deserved, guys. This is one of the promotions where I have utmost confidence in all the choices.

It's the same as Forum Moderator promotions (and other Moderator promotions, but that came to mind first), there's usually a great deal of people who deserve the position also, but a decision had to be made, and for whatever the reasons the group stuck out over others. It's the same case with this.

Plus, I can't make any promises, but it would be quite naive to think that we'll never need more Clan Chat Moderators.

And to all of you who say some don't deserve thair rank, shut up.
I have seen every single one of them in chat, and I've talked with all of them (or at the every least, almost everyone).
All of these persons deserve this position, and as much as I agree that there are more people who deserve the rank, we had to make choices, 7 people could be picked, and we could pick 7 people who are all around GMT, but how would that help us? That would still mean the chat would be unmodded most of the time when the GMTers are asleep.

So quit moaning, that won't get you the rank, or anything else at all.

IMO, people got this rank, who dont deserve it, not because of bad behavior etc, but because they are totally inactive, and / or, dont even play RS anymore

Actually, they are all VERY active. Just because you don't see them online because of timezones doesn't mean they're inactive.

The criteria for choosing the new moderators was that they must be active in runescape, and they must be chosen from a range or timezones to boost our coverage at times when we lack moderators without the new batch. They would even have their rank removed were they to become inactive in runescape, so really, it wouldn't matter even if they were inactive, more moderators would just be selected to take their place. That's beside the point though, they aren't inactive, or why would they be chosen?

In answer to the questions about the rank shields, they opted not to do the color/rank on the Who Is Logged In portion due to the fact that if there is a problem in chat, there are several other moderators that could respond if they are on instead of just the clan chat mods. At least to my understanding that was the bit behind it and that we didn't need so many more rank colors. I'm happy to do my job regardless if I have a rank/colored name. Plus we have no actual RV priveledges/power other then the modding of the RS clan chat. They may change their mind though, so I'm patient, and it doesn't bother me much on not having a colored name.
