RV CC mods are getting black. I agree about the lime green though. Ugh.

Forum mods look after several forum categorys which include 3-8 forums each, modding anywhere from 12 to 24 boards, the Staff Moderator mods a few forums dealing with staff related issues in total they mod 2 forums so far. So it makes more sence that forum mods are ranked higher than staff mods if not the same,


p.s and for rank images they mean nothing the Rv CC rank is just 1 black shield an the, Sorcerer of Saradomin and Champion of Saradomin both have one shield with crown, this dose not mean there ranked higher than the Rv CC rank

as far as i know the Rv rank order goes as displayed by the Legend

For those with doubts about the colour - After staring at it for 6 days, waiting to be promoted, it grew on me, so I'm sure it will you too xD

Anyhow - Thanks to the admins for this. Its feels nice to get some recognition for everything we do behind the scenes. I don't know how much you guys know, but everyone works REALLY hard back there. They all deserve a big congratulations.

I haven't seen king or yourself do much for a while, admittedly there are staff forums I can't see so I could be incorrect, as king left a little while ago for a bit I wouldn't call him Particularly active, I'm sure glode will appoint new staff when he sees the need or the right candidates however.

i actually spoke to the admins recently about my activity as a staff member and they said that i was to keep the rank for my previous work. I am no longer really working on anything however I am an active rv member holding the staff rank which is actually what i meant

From what i recall of the staff rules/guidelines you have to stay active to retain the rank, seems strange they made an exception, there is no reason to have the rank when you are no longer doing anything, it just means users will get confused and pm you with staff things, afterall thats what the ranks are designed for, to give an indication of who to contact in the area that you need.

The guidelines have said that, but it's not how it ends up working. I don't think I've seen anybody with the Staff rank have it forcefully removed.

People don't even really have to PM the Village Staff for anything. That's not why they get the rank. Main Site issues are sent to Glodenox or posted in the Website Submissions and Corrections forum, and things to do with the seperate sections of Site Maintenance should be sent to the leader of the specific section. The rank is more of an appreciation and recognition thing and it lets others know that you put significant work into the Main Site for an extended period of time. The work is never taken back, so I don't know why the rank would be. People can't be expected to stay active forever.

As for giving more people the Staff rank, there's no rush or minimum Village Staff we have to have. Glodenox will give the Staff rank out when it's deserved. In fact, the Village Staff rank has always been one of the rarest, and that's kinda what makes it so special.

It's better to let people do their work voluntarily than forcefully.
