Is it possible to make more? Ive been wanting to make one for those that play Call of Duty 4. Reason why, is because i know that there are a lot of people at the village who have either xbox360, playstation 3, or PC version of this game of the year. :P I would like to know though if im allowed to create one, or if its even possible... Who would i go about asking?

Thanks a lot for the help. ^_^;

If I'm not mistaken, right now there's a freeze on new usergroups.

i haven't heard anything on the creation of new usergroups so i believe they are still frozen... but even if they weren't i doubt a call of duty 4 usergroup would be created as it can be discussed in the "Other Games" forum..

The people above are right. Not many user groups have been approved lately. Remember if it fits in another catagory then your request will be denied. Make a topic in Other Games :)

There has been a freeze on non-Runescape usergroups for over a year. While I like the idea of usergroups, the admins don't :(

I guess its just too much work and responsibility needed.
More Usergroups -> more forums -> more moderators -> less RL time Dx for them -> Chaos

Well actually, the main reason for usergroups is that the admins (hiker especially) felt that they were distracting RV from what is its core purpose: to be an RS fansite. There was some concern that RV was becoming a free hosting site for everyone with 10 friends and a half-baked idea.

There was also the added problem that the 20 or so usergroups we had diluted activity into a myriad of hidden forums at the expense of the public ones. And of course the fact that many of the usergroups were inactive.

That's not to say that a usergroup won't be approved if there is a good idea that doesn't belong in any of the other categories, or is big enough to warrant its own usergroup (like the old GW, WoW usergroups, now public forums). But I'd have to say that CoD would slot perfectly into Other Games, as Mackerel said.

And with that said, there are only 3 topics on the front page of Other Games... that are about COD4, so it doesn't seem to spark the activity needed to require a whole new forum.

I would say that nearly half of the people at RV don't play Runescape anymore.
