There is one thing though, even though us regulars figured this out pretty quick, what about the newcomers and/or potential members? you probably scared them all right off when you all started "acting" like idiots

I'm not going to lie... I fell out of my chair reading the other topic. Some of those responses were absolutely hilarious.

I also love the irony of the situation. Some users were saying "Now we truly see their true personalities" as a result of the prank, but in reality the exact opposite occurred. The actors, and all of the other members, got to see the true feelings of the normal users who ranted and raved

Ahh, good fun. Good fun indeed.

Ok you got me worried for a couple of minutes, but I smelled something wrong and investigated the site....
...then I found the definite proof that it was fake by looking at this : memberlist.php?mode=leaders
The whole team was in it, but hidden

5 seconds after I posted the proof, it was removed by Donut, who also sent me a PM about this.
The moment I read the PM I was really happy this was definitely fake and actually proud I found the proof
I did think that some mods acted too much lol, I mean if you know them well enough to recognize that...

Oh and it was also fun to act together with them later on :3
I also lolled at some of the responses from regular users XD
Overall I think it was well planned and well acted Good job guys

Some mods claimed that we got a mass pm about being demodded, and that was true. Only with the added note that it was an april fools joke. Someone who reads his pms would know about it.

And for the record, king was quite involved in the actual plotting of it all.

I knew it was an April fools joke. Someone earlier had actually successfully pranked me, so I had realised it was 4/1.

I think the reason why people got mad and angry is because Mods, Staff and legends are people who the general RVA should be able to trust. I think that it seemed sooo crazy that no one would joke about it! I hope that Hiker, Mods and Admins understand what I am saying. I think that some people trust you all so much, and they feel you 100% betrayed us for a minute?











Hmm.. *some* guys are genuinly hurt or concerned. You can say they were childish, or what ever.. but it is what it is! Some jokes hurt, which is why we can't always tell the jokes we want in RV Chat!! I think RV Staff(admins, mods) should start moderating their own jokes so that people don't get hurt.
