Well, it's still the fastest non-uni connection so far, so I guess I'm happy. :P
Strangely enough my speed was slower when I used the San Francisco server, which is only 30 miles or so away.

Even so, my connection is terrible. The only reason I don't think hate its slowness completely is because it still (barely) works without lag over Xbox Live. As long as I'm not the host, that is.

On the good side, though, my ping is usually at least that low.

Ookaay.... So... A couple of months ago I posted in a topic just like this one with my internet connection. It was around 2000kbps. I have been experiencing some problems with my internet lately so I called my ISP. They said it could be due to my modem (which is by now about 6 years old)... Today they came to replace it with a new one:
