"Regardless of your status on existense, I am farther into my years than I seem, and they say using a sword with two hands makes it twice as strong." Tousen built up a large amount of reaitsu into his zanpatou, and swung downward onto the scythe.

OOC: Yeah, and using both hands doubles it's strength further. At this point it's comparable to a diamond sword with the force of a sledgehammer.

Marluxia looked surprised by the power Tousen's sword suddenly gained, and was struck directly by the weapon. As he crashed into the wall on the other side of the room, a massive tornado of flower petals began to surround Marluxia, who rose up in the air. Suddenly, his voice echoed through the entire room.

"Interesting. I rarely have to go as far as to use this form. You're certainly going to be an interesting opponent."


"However, you cannot possibly defeat me."


While the whirlwind dissolved, a massive, white creature appeared from it, with a large flower on its back. The flower opened to reveal Marluxia, who glared at Tousen with anger.

OOC: Also, in the game you need to first take out the scythes before you can damage Marluxia.

"I see, perhaps everyone who was sent here has tricks such as these." Tousen moved his sword back to his side, assessing the situation. After considering all the possibilities, he brought his plan forward. "Cry, Suzumishi."

OOC: Just a reminder: in the game, you're supposed to destroy the scythes before you're able to damage Marluxia.

IC: Marluxia, having remembered a feint version of this sound earlier on during his fight with Nobunaga, quickly covered his ears and vanished into the flower. The creature he was on, however, did not have ears, so it wasn't affected by the shikai's effect. With a surprising amount of speed, it dashed at Tousen, and swiped at the shinigami with its scythes.

OOC: Shouldn't be that hard, if Sora can do it with a key, I can do it with a sword.

BIC: Tousen was reminded of a large hollow that he had fought once that had scythes for hands, and knew what to do. He raised his sword, and held it with the blade facing at an angle, in an effort to direct the motion of the scythes angled away.

it's been 4 days. neither of you have posted.

Kool-aid posted last. He wins.

The ending:

The scythe slid off of tousen's sword pushing him back a bit. Tousen quickly recovered from the force. He spun around slicing the first scythe into two halves. He side jumped to the next one and used a kidou blast to shatter it to pieces. He then used his zanpaktou in large uppercut that sliced the enemy in half.

Light sat there laughing.

"Very nicely done. It's a shame that you're life has to end here though."

Light quickly write's tousen's name into the notebook.

"You're an impressive fighter. If you had you're eyes you might have lived. You would have stopped me before I wrote you down. As of now... you are..."

Light waits a moment for the notebook to take effect. He see's tousen thrust his hand to his own chest as he dies of a heartattack.

"dead"

Light turns around and walks away from the ruins of the prison that served as his battlefield.

"Come Ryuk. There is much more fun to be had."

Meh, after form 1, it would just get very repetive anyways.

And sorry about the lack of posts, I've had a very, very busy week, and we just got the keys to our new house, which means a lot of working around it. And to be honest, half of the posts Kool-aid makes are kind of confusing to me, too.

OOC: Sweet, my first battlefield victory, although I feel empty inside still. Perhaps next time it'll be of my own skill instead of the enemy's inability to fight back.
