[RP] Battlefield 8: Kira's playground.

"There, you are wrong." Marluxia said. "I cannot feel regret, no matter what happens to anything, nor can I feel anything at all." The metal of their weapons sparked as the sword barely blocked the scythe, causing a brief spark of light.

"For you or your soldiers however, it's another case entirely. Just imagine how your army is doing now, confused and leaderless, and likely in the middle of a war. They'll be slaughtered , and it will all be your fault."

At that precise moment, all thorns on the plants in the room shot at Nobunaga, the plans crumbling away after they lost theirs.

OOC: I just realize my musou bar would've filled last post. So...

IC: Quickly, the thorns began to barrage Nobunaga. He coughed up blood. As the last thorn speared him, he struggled his foot forward. The other... and the other...

"No. My army was already helpless. I see now Mistuhide's trickery, but it is too late. As all my forces were off, taking other territories, I, nearly undefended, was an easy target for his betrayal. But it does not matter whether I lose or win here, for the gods... cannot always continue to give power to one person, or there will be no change, no end to the chaos."

Nobunaga's eyes flashed with fire. And then... it changed.

True Musou, occuring only when the user activates their musou at low health.

Much stronger musou energy filled the room, and Nobunaga began to slowly pick up speed, and achieved a jogging pace, before immediatley changing to a quick speed. He ran, not much faster than his natural speed, but he ran, and the thorns fell from him in clumps.

Everything around him was in slow motion as he swung at Marluxia, once, twice, three times. His sword felt heavy. He couldn't stand with it anymore. He pierced it into the ground and used it to stand himself. "I always convinced myself." he said, and laughed. With a flash, the musou ended, and any un-natural energies helping to keep him alive faded. Nobunaga's voice suddenly became much more frail. "I always told myself I could... that I COULD, be eternal. But now... I real..ize.... that nothing...."

His eyes went blank, as he looked at Marluxia. "-lives forever..."

His sword preventing him from falling forward. Nobunaga fell backwards, onto a swirl of black feathers that spun. His eyes shut and Lord Nobunaga of the Oda Clan fell into eternal rest.

The glow around his sword faded.

OOC: Good fight.

IC: Marluxia managed to defend himself from the first two slashes, but the third strike was too fast to block, and Marluxia was cut in the arm.

After watching Nobunaga's demise, plants began to surround the body. "It seems we weren't so different after all, Oda Nobunaga." Marluxia said, as the plants with the body in them attached to the roof, and sakura flowers grew from the bottom. "But in the end, you weren't able to defeat me. You clung hopefully to darkness, only to be betrayed by it."

"Now to get out of here." Marluxia said, before turning around to see a man in white robes standing near the walls.

"And you will tell me how."

This completely isn't a "How much longer are you guys going?" post, because that's pretty insensitive, so don't take this the wrong way.

But, how many people are left? I thought there were 7, then 5, then 3, but now I completely lost count.

On a related note, about BF9...are people still interested? Custom Characters and Team Trials died after a while, and Halo and Turok went nowhere. But as far as I'm concerned, BF# are the true battlefields, and hopefully they'll continue. Just making sure that people still want to do it before I make a new topic a day or two after this one finishes (whenever that may be.)

And in my opinion, you should continue on making BF9, you can, after all, always try to see how many characters show up first. I already hav a character planned for BF9, one you'd probably not expect too much.

OOC: Real life will likely ease up a bit, due to there being not that much school in March. So I'll be there for BF9. But still, yeah, we need to make sure that people actually JOIN, so the #ed BF's don't start to bomb out like the Spin-Off BF's.

OOC: Okay, cool, thanks. I'll continue that, then; I personally still have higher regards for BF#s than the spin-offs, as Top put it. It just sort of surprised me because BF7 had 17 participants, and then this one (BF8) only had 7 if I'm not mistaken. Should be fun, though.

OOC: Naw, it's ok, I'm just waiting for Kool-aid to get back.

And yeah, the severe decline of members is probably because a lot of BF7 members were people that rarely visit the RP forum, and some of them left RV. It's sad to see so much reduction of Lit. Society activity though, I remember back when Jaron was writing ZB3 that it was a lot more crowded.

BIC: Tousen's wounds had mostly recovered, though too much activity would start the bleeding again. He saw the battle had ended, and looked at the survivor. I guess it had come to just us two then.

Light walked out onto the battlefield and leaned against the wall with his notebook out. He had not summoned either one of these people. He knew they would be the final two. Everything up to this point had been carefully scripted in his notebook. From the crushings to the explosions.... and the two kills of the people now in front of him had been written so that someone that had not yet been written in would have to come in.

Light looked at sousuke's death in his book.

"Die's in an explosion from a blind man wielding a sword after being blasted by magical attacks"

there was no one else that could have done it. Tousen HAD to make an appearence. Light couldn't say who the killer would be but he had made sure that there was only one possible person that could come and do it. He now looked at the other fighter that he had brought here in a similar fashion.

He put his pen to his book and waited for the battle to end. The winner would die shortly after being congradulated. Light could have killed them both before this fight even began... but he wanted some entertainment... and this was a battle he hadn't written an ending for. He could enjoy this greatly.

OOC: I was grounded for two weeks. Glad to see it didn't end and that everything held together!

I am Marluxia, Number XI of Organization XIII. And you are...?" Marluxia said, as thick, thorny branches began to grow in front of the exits.

OOC: Just as a reminder; Marluxia has three forms, and is currently still in his first.

"I am Kaname Tousen, former Shinigami Captain of Sereitei's 9th Squad." Feeling the other person's energy over the exit, Tousen knew this battle would be much harder than before, as he was going against one who fought from afar, even though their energies seemed about equal.

"Pleasant too meet you." Marluxia said with a slight bit of sarcasm. He summoned his scythe, and vanished into a whirlpool of flower petals.
A few moments passed before Marluxia reappeared behind Tousen, and swiped his scythe at the man.
"Just don't think I'm going easy on you because we're the last two alive."

"I wouldn't expect anything less after watching your fight." Tousen flashstepped, appearing right behind Marluxia. He touched his shoulder and began focusing his reaitsu to that point.

Marluxia felt a great shock as a jolt of lightning suddenly pierced his shoulder. "What...?" he said, looking at the newly formed hole in his shoulder. Vanishing in whirlwind of flowers once more, he reappeared across the room.

"So, it seems you can teleport as well, then. Good to know." Marluxia raised his uninjured arm, and dark pools of energy surrounded him, while he threw his scythe at Tousen.

Tousen instantly reacted, raising his zanpaktou to block the scythe. The velocity struck hard, and he was forced almost to his knees before shifting the scythe to fly to the side. "I see you are truly skilled with your weapon, though I still consider this an outweighed match."

"Your assumption is right, it is outweighed." Marluxia said. "Outweighed to my side, it is."

The scythe that lay on the ground next to Tousen vanished, and reappeared in Marluxia's hand. While the Nobody vanished in a whirlwind of flowers, the room went dark.

Marluxia was levitating right behind Tousen, and would stay right behind him even if he turned around or flashstepped elsewhere, while pinkish pillars of energy began shooting up from beneath Tousen. ((There's about 13 total, they appear right beneath you but will remain at the place where they appeared from the ground.)) Afterwards, Marluxia swiped his scythe at him, and teleported to the other side of the room.

"I see, you just haven't realized it yet then." Tousen began flashstepping, sometimes barely avoiding the pillars as they grazed him lightly. He then felt that his back had been cut, though it didn't seem that serious, as movement was still possible. He then tried to sense Marluxia's location, grabbing his zanpaktou with both hands as he prepared to attack.
