Is there a mod for windows XP to get that vista side menu thing ? with the clocks/hdd space temperatures etc?

You could just use something like Object Dock, but that's a big resource hog.

But then again, isn't Vista? ;D

If you mean the sidebar, then there's quite a few. One that I know, you can get here: http://www.thoosje.com/. Not sure if you'll like it, you can just google "vista sidebar xp" to get some other results.
