[RP] Battlefield 8: Kira's playground.

The lightning attack hit the M6's head. "Head rotation has been eliminated. All heat and touch sensors located in the immediate area have been disabled. Approximate time left until the machine is inoperable is five minutes," the AI reported to Sousuke. Luckily, because of the design of the M6, Sousuke was located in the chest cavity. If the attack had hit five feet lower, he might not have been so fortunate. Another attack like that could cause the head to explode, leaving Sousuke very vulnerable and injured. Sousuke turned the M6 around and charged at the swordsman with his gun while reloading it.

Tousen felt the machine approaching, and started thinking carefully. He charged his kido again, knowing he only had one chance for his next attack. He pointed an open palm at the enemy, and a large burst of red fire shot towards it.

"It appears I should change from my regular tactics in your case." Marluxia said, taking advantage of the length of his scythe over Nobunaga's sword to use the small distance he needed to move to hit him to backflip out of the way. Marluxia jumped into the air where he remained afloat, and smashed down at the ground with his scythe, creating a massive shockwave. "You have been foolish to underestimate me, Nobunaga."

Sousuke saw the red flash coming, and brought up the only thing he could to defend himself: his gun. It took the force of the attack, and parts of it melted. "You're mine." Sousuke pointed, and pulled the trigger.

And the gun had jammed. Apparently, melting it in a certain place prevented it from being fired. Sousuke threw the useless weapon at the swordsman and pulled out his combat knife, the only weapon he had left.

Confident he now had the upper hand, Tousen took advantage of the lack of the gun to quickly move to the back of the machine. He took a hold of the handle of his sword, and pulled back, ripping out insignifigant bits of metal out with it. He then braced himself, getting ready for the inevitable attack.

Sousuke's M6 sensors went dark. The sword must have been taken from him, and the only way that could have happened was is the enemy took it back from behind. In a last ditch effort, Sousuke brought the knife-bearing hand forward in an attempt to slash the swordsman. The arc had to be wide enough because Sousuke could no longer see, and there was a very good chance this would be his last battle.

Tousen placed his sword longways above his head, to block the knife. A few sparks flew, and he jumped back, then heard the sound of his zanpaktou in pain. He felt a small crack in the blade, and knew the next attack would have to be the last. He focused his full reaitsu into his sword, and ran at the machine, preparing a slash which would move across the chest.

Sousuke brought up the battle knife to block the attack, and a tremendous amount of energy leapt out between the two blades. It continued to build up, until Sousuke could hold no more, and the knife broke. In horror, he saw the sword slice through the chest cavity, and fatally wound him. Sousuke coughed into his hand, and saw blood fly out. "C-captain... I have failed. Forgive me." He stared upwards into the ceiling, and said, "AI, activate self destruct sequence."

"Self destruct sequence requires confirmation. Please confirm."

"Confirmation granted."

"It is recommended you leave this Arm Slave. Self destruct will enact in thirty seconds."

"Good... *cough* Chidori." And with that, Sousuke died.

OOC: That was a fun battle, Kool Aid Man. Just remember to get out of the way of the blast, I don't want you dying yet :wink:

Tousen heard the sound coming from the machine, and gripped his arm before flashstepping some distance away. He cancelled his bankai, the dome exploding outward and the ring reappearing on his zanpaktou. Not wanting to waste much more reaitsu before the next battle, he ran through a large door, and jumped to the side as he saw a man with a scythe and what looked like a Protector of the Second Squad captain fighting intensly. Trying to stay out of it, Tousen braced himself and hid right before hearing a loud explosive sound.

OOC: Gah, Pyro, spare me, I beg of you. Must... make... 3 day post times.

IC: Nobunaga pulled his sword back to his side after his spin, as Marluxia backflipped. Not wasting any time, Nobunaga charged quickly, slashing his sword forward in an arc. However, this did nothing but stop the swinging of Marluxia's scythe (thus preventing the shockwave), as when the two blades collided, they stopped moving and locked.

Nobunaga's sudden frontward momentum however made him unable to stop, and crashed right into Marluxia, sending both of them flying. Their lock broke mid-flight, and Nobunaga flew further than Marluxia, tumbling before coming to a stop. He stood with a spin. Though hardly unscathed, he suspected Marluxia to be unharmed as well.

IC: When Marluxia stood up again, he felt something warm and wet crawl over his face. Wiping it, he found a trail of blood on his glove. It seemed his nose was bleeding. "Why you...!"

Marluxia yelled, and it began to get slightly darker again. He vanished partially into the ground, as he twirled his scythe around vertically like a circular saw, and speeded towards Nobunaga.

Nobunaga held his ground, as Marluxia sunk into the floor, and began to speed towards him, scythe spinning like a saw. "It seems the gods are testing me... However..."

Nobunaga leaped into the air, above the range of the scythe, and tossed a dark energy blast down at where Marluxia would be passing through at nearly the same time the blast would hit the ground. "-it appears the gods still favour me."

"I think not, "Lord Nobunaga"." Marluxia said mockingly.

The darkness ball connected directly with the scythe Marluxia was still spinning, and was deflected into a random direction. Marluxia did, however, stop spinning, and vanished. Then, a whirlwind of flower petals materialized behind Nobunaga, from which Marluxia appeared, almost immediately swiping his scythe at Nobunaga.

Having figured out Marluxia's tendency to appear behind him, Nobunaga rapidly spun before the assasin could strike, (And here, I'm at sorta a block, as I can't continue without knowing whether this hits or not...) and with a grin, roared "Do NOT mock my name, or you will regret it terribly!"
