Recommend any new anime?

Well, I have recently finished watching Death Note (The ending was sad

)

and I need another Anime to fill my Anime watching time, so any suggestions?

I have already watched or up to the latest episodes of:
Bleach
Death Note (duh)
Gurren Lagann
Code Geass
A few others that I cant remember at the moment.

And please, no Narutard.

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It's good, plus it's only 14 episodes (second season isn't out yet) so it's not like you're wasting too much time by giving it a try.

If you do decide to watch it, DON'T quit after the first episode. It's silly on purpose and unlike any of the others for a reason; the real storyline begins at the second episode.

Death Note was the anime that turned me back to an anime freak ^^

after that I watched Elfen Lied which was also fantasticly made (but sadder)

and now I'm going to watch Kanon (2006) if I have time (which is also sad but more girly).

-Cowboy bebop (Action/ Drama/ Awesome)
-samurai Champloo (Action/comedy?/Drama?)
-Trigun (Action/Drama/Comedy)
-Great teacher onizuka. (comedy/ drama/ Action)
-outlaw star.(Drama/action)

Also Elfen lied if you like extreme drama and action. (contains alot of nudity, blood, and severed body parts.)

Code Geass is gonna be on Adult_swim

Besides that, you can try Higurashi, Shana, Myself; Yourself, etc...

If you liked Deathnote, try Hellgirl. It's a similar idea... but a lot better thought out.
The show has some amazing twists to it and takes a bit more thought. I saw it this
last weekend and it looks rather interesting.

The second half was bad compared to the first one, though.

The first episode might be a bit bland to you, but it gets good fast IMO. try 2 eps to see if you like it.
