can anyone here scream? Ive watched the youtube videos but I dont really have it, I can make a similar sound but very quiet, any advice/pointers?

It mighta been someone else but they posted something along these lines.. how to scream without damaging yourself... but it was in media mansion.

I could scream, but you have to show me on youtube what you're looknig for. My screaming has mostly developed as a result of football games. :O Don't know fi i can scream ina mic for you. Might annoy my parents. :\

EDIT: Oh, I see, those really annoying Metal screams that take a lot of skill to do? Bleh, can't do it.

There was a topic about this kind of screamers a while ago.. I believe it was Junesetfire/Pixel? Meh, I don't remember. :-s

Yeah, I had the same problem with only being able to do it quiet, really it's all in the breathing, just practice the sound you want, not in words but just in noise, then break it into seperate sounds, the pick a small string of words (3 or 4) and work your way up.

Most cant actually scream that loud, its just kinda generally louder then a whisper an a little bit less then your normal talking voice, its just amplified by the microphone.

I gather you can do it, as you said, just push out with your diaphragm and it avoids hurting your throat. Work with some scales go up and down with the noise, listen to songs that have it and try to imitate you will eventually work it all out.
