Special Effect: Lowers your opponents ranged defense to almost 0 for a few hits.

Notes:If this attack hits, it's usually a very good chance to swap to Magic Short Bow and activate the special.

Special Effect: Uses the effect of a dragon's breath to increase greatly your max hit unless your opponent has a dragon-fire shield on or is a fiery foe (TzTok-Jad or Fire Giants, etc)

Karil’s Bolt Rack

Special Effect: Decreases your opponent’s agility level. This effect can only be used with the Full Karil Set.
It cannot be made; It can only be obtained purchasing them from Ak-Haranu or at Barrows as a reward. These bolts can only be used with Karil's Crossbow.

Bone Bolt

Special Effect: Snipe, reduces the opponents defense level by the amount of damage inflicted.
Note: Bone Bolts can only be used with the Bone Crossbow. Bronze and Iron bolts can also be used with this crossbow but tipped and/or enchanted bolts do not work. The special attack is activated from the special attack bar.


Each bolt up has a slightly higher chance of the effect activating. The poison one doesn't count for this. For Example, Lucky Lightning is about 1/50 chance of activating while Dragon's Breath is about 1/15.
