“For the last time, I won’t be selling the rights to the area”

Thr was slowly losing his patience with the person on the phone. They had called the past three days wanting to buy the rights to a town under his govern.

“Fine, that was your last offer. You’ll be regretting this”

Strange. That person was adamantly set on buying the town, and to just hang up? Thr quickly dropped the thought. He was glad to be done with that annoyance. There were many other things that had to be done, and he wasn’t one to waste time.

Wait… That person, what was there name again? The realization hit like a bucket of cold water, shivers went sent down his spine. He had to get ahold of the management in the town quick. Hopefully the switchboard operator could phone him without much delay.

Preoccupied with getting the line up, Thr didn’t hear the soft “Tap, tap, tap” of footstep’s, nor the slight creak of his office door. A slick silver barrel of a flintlock peeked its way in through the cracked door, and fired…

The body was found relatively quick, due to the operator hearing the shot and scream through the phone. Before his death Thr managed to get off a warning of the coming days. The Mafia was here. Now the village gathers at the square ready to fix this problem and protect their homes.

Rules

1. Do not talk about the game outside of the game unless you have a role that specifies otherwise. Mafia communication is such an exception.

2. No editing posts, it's cool to double-post if you have to.

3. The mafia win when their numbers equal or exceed the village.

4. The village wins when all the mafia are eliminated.

5. A Lynch requires more 50% of the population to vote for the same person.

6. Votes and unvotes must be in bold or they will not be counted.

7. The day phase lasts 72 real life hours. The night phase lasts 36 real life hours.

8. Dead players may not talk to living players until the game ends. Dead players may communicate freely among each other.

9. If a Lynch is secured before the timer expires, the day will officially end. Any discussion after this point is a "Twilight" period.

10. Please be ACTIVE! I don't want to mod-kill, but ill do what has to be done. -Puts on shades-

11. If all possible night action PMs are sent before the timer expires, the night will officially end. Any changes to your action must be made before the next day's post is made.

12. No posting screenshots of any PM's related to this game.

Some of the villagers were quick to refer to there emergency mafia chart, but no real progress was made. The town dispersed, and the night began.

Night One
Night ends Monday, September 12th, at 2:00 a.m. CST
Wont lie, probably wont be updating that early in the morning.

Last night was quiet for some, not so much for others. Frank was found dead last night clutching his mafiality chart. In his house was desk's covered with ink stained papers, envelopes, and wax seals. Upon close inspection it seems he was a Messenger. The first life has been taken, and with it a new day has begun.

What's a messenger do? Anyone know?

I must say, after the way Frank acted last game, as town, it makes me think that the mafia made a poor choice.

Not a clue on the messenger thing. My first guess is he was capable of sending messages to other players in the night, but unless anyone received anything there's no way of knowing. I don't think there's much worth in speculating about it anyways.

Wait, what? I could swear just yesterday the title said Day 1 still.

Anyway, Franks charts have been pretty on point so I think the mafia would have taken him as a pretty big threat.

Anyway, it's totally Spirographed. I received a message last night saying he was a known villain from another town. Apparently Frank's role let him know details ahead of time and he was able to warn people at night. A shame he died so early.
