I remember him being a Vigilante and having a 100% success rate killing Mafia in one of the early Legends' Forum games. Good times.

Librarian: Next door, several steps outside of his home, He was crying out for help, barely able to stand, but we took him in and fed him and gave him water. He's in better shape now.

Priest: I see, so you're sure he'll be fine?

Librarian: I'd say so. He's been recovering at the library for a few hours now.

Priest: Thank the Lord, and of course you for saving him. You must have a great talent for medicine, if he could survive such a terrible stabbing.

Librarian: I didn't save him, Priest, I just fed him. Those bandages were already on him when I ran into him.

Priest: That's strange, there's no way he could've done that himself. Was anyone else with him?

Librarian: Not that I saw. He told me he woke up with those bandages on him, all alone. Whoever did this must've come at just the right time to save him after the attack.

Priest: Interesting, it seems we had a brave someone looking out for him that night. A medically-trained someone, at that. Please see to it that SparkyAMS makes a full recovery. The Church will provide you with whatever assistance you may need.

Interested why you immediately suspect me. I'm actually pretty baffled that both the mafia and doctor went after you in a game with Lander and Kikori in it. Or even me or Monk or someone "usual".

Makes me suspect a high concentration of popular targets are in the mafia but that's conjecture at best and borderline metagame. I'll throw a vote Kikori's way for now since this seems like just the kind of insanity I've come to associate with him. At work for like three more hours tho.

Isn't that typical of Mafia, though? I can remember very, very few times the alleged "big names" were ever the first night one target for a mafia kill. Or even a Vigilante / Jack of All Trades kill, for that matter.
Call me insane, just not late to the train, Topsummoner. No matter what's thought of me, Sparky's confirmed and I still like lynches instead of no-lynch days.

Top was also the first one to throw out a vote at all.

He fits the bill, but I by no means know for sure if he is mafia or not.

What I can say is that Topsummoner is certainly not the doctor, because why save the man he tried to kill? He's an expendable risk.

The only other wise alternative would be to strike one of the players that hasn't posted yet in hopes of getting rid of inactive players and increasing the villagers ability to kill.

That being said, I would like to point out that there is a villager capable of killing at night. A Jack of All Trades. I will keep their name to myself to avoid them being targeted at night. And because I managed to find that person last night, I feel comfortable revealing my role as detective. I just ask that they protect me at night since I am obviously a high value target now.

In what world does the detective learn the role of the person they investigate? It has always been alignment they learn; Village, Mafia or Neutral/Third Party.

Learning the role is a different role entirely, the most common variant of which is the Stalker, a mafia-aligned role. Not to mention Jack basically stated in the flavor text of the intro that there is a Godfather in this game, which is a mafia-aligned role which appears innocent when investigated. What good would a Godfather be in a game with a detective who learns the role name? That doesn't make any sense. So I don't buy this claim for a second, especially since it comes unsolicited and with the third vote on a train against me. Pyro3000
