These guys were both on OSRS: The Bearface and Redemption. As you can see their stats were pretty good as far as OSRS Ironman goes.



Very refreshing to see them keep their word about removing ironman status from accounts that were found to be exploiting in the extreme.

One account had bought over 100k cosmic runes using this method

Forgot to mention for those interested.

On OSRS in Lumbridge there is an NPC called Hans that tells you how old your account is in days. Since it's open to f2p until the end of the year, everyone can check, you just have to run your character through old tutorial island. Not sure if there is an RS3 equivalent for this.

Anyway, found out my oldest account (prior to Ape) was 4212 days old - which is June 8th 2003.

In RS3 Hans will only tell you how long until you can buy a 5 or 10 year cape, so if your account is older than that he won't tell you anything.
And considering account creation date is part of the info that can be used to recover an account, I have no idea why Jagex would be so stupid to put it there.

Yeah, I thought Hans had that limitation.

To be honest, with Hans being able to do that in RS3, what he is capable of in OSRS isn't that much of an extension; it just means you can find out your creation date if your account is over 10 years old. They must have their reasons, perhaps it's no longer an integral part of the recovery process?

Ah, when you said rank 1 slayer, the guy I thought of was literally named rank_1_slayer lol. He holds the rank too I believe. (Haven't checked HS in awhile.

Haven't played much recently. Got on, did some barrows, achieved 80 att. Then I changed my HCIM RSN to Allocer. Still haven't died.

There wasn't a point in doing it due to Ironmen not getting xp boosts and such. Alst I got Karils mainhand crossbow, and Karils top yesterday at barrows. That puts me at like 20-25m worth of barrows loot now. I average an item every 8-12 chests. I know I can't sell any of it, but I find it fun to see how much wealth I can amass as HCIM.

Well I have seen ironmen do them and traded spear/helm with them, so I thought maybe it would work, at least you can get the cosmetic overrides.

For those curious, OSRS is getting permanent f2p and the GE this month. Achievement diaries too. Pretty huge month for Old School. Will be fun to muck around on Muscular Ape again while I do stuff on my Ironman.

Yeah the usual f2p/p2p system. OSRS already has a two week f2p trial, now it's becoming permanent and they're introducing bonds purely for membership.

That's good. They haven't given up. I still remember at one point when people thought Jagex stopped caring and claimed that they got away with using macros to get several skills to 99.

That's cool.

Some guy got all stats to 99 on RSC by macroing a while back Nobody at Jagex cares about that game though, haha.

Pretty accurate of the past and present, except there was more of a sense of accomplishment in old school RS when it was actually 2007.
