Unsure what to do for the rest of 99 WC.

Oaks - fairly fast, 40k/h about, use for Construction.
Maples (and anything higher) - good for fletching, too slow wc exp.
Willows - good exp, but little use... can fletch but exp is meh.
Teaks - can't bank really, waste of logs, but fastest exp.

Trying to find a balance between quick WC exp and usefulness via oaks, willows and maples. I probably won't ever bother getting Construction up further than 60 or so going to cut 4k oaks for that. After that though, cannot decide.

If you want to rush it oaks. But personally I would do maples. You probably wouldn't want to get the 99 wc then have to go back and cut more logs for fletching.

Since I made that post I went and tested maples. Surprisingly, it turns out they're around 43k/h so far (after 50 mins). I think they just feel incredibly slow since you roughly have to cut one maple log for every three oak logs.

I did yews/willow in free to play. Based on your thoughts on those trees, i'd say oaks.

I did a barrows run melee, no prayer for the first time.

I always did maples back then, yeah. It felt kinda slow but according to my stats it always turned out fine? Especially since I fletched/burned the logs later...

How did that work? Done melee only before EOC and used original prayer points only before. That worked out okay.

It worked pretty well. I was a little worried about Dharrok, but I think his max is only 4k now. The most i was hit for was 1600. (Stats when I did it - Def 75, Att 60, Str 60, HP 69) Its only possible to do like two runs though. Then I needed more supply's.

I keep getting Barrows for Reaper. I don't use any pots, just a little food. But I'm generally doing 10 runs of it .

Edit: Not long after posting, I got my first Barrows item. Only taken 10 years...

Speaking of Barrows, my worry's were true. I had my first near death experience since the beginning of Ironman. Dharrok almost spec'ed me out. He hit a 3k followed by a 2k. Luckily I don't let my hp fall below 6k when I fight him.
