I don't mind Arah as a dungeon. This was the first week I had done, it was pretty fun.

Path 4 though? Never going back.

Eh, Simin is the only genuinely hard fight in that one. Back when I did it for the first time, I was in a PUG, and none of us had done it before. We finished it anyway. You may now be impressed with the fortitude that required.

Turns out if you clear all of the current levels of the SAB and follow an obscure hint that involves the Konami Code, you get treated to about 2 minutes of story exposition that reveals nothing. Stellar writing, that.

Living Story content is split between four different teams, and all of the more awesome developers on the GW2 staff seemed to have fallen off of the radar over the past few months. It shows.

Edit: And now there's an ongoing shitstorm because the head writer has essentially said that they've gone full George Lucas and retconned half the lore.

Yeah I just did this today. I hate temporary content in general tbh, at least SAB comes back I guess.

Haven't heard anything about the edit yet.

Tribulation mode = rage mode.

So far the only purpose the new Tequatl has served is to demonstrate that;

a) Lots of baddies play GW2.
b) The overflow/queue system is a piece of Fuzzy Bunny.

I'm withholding judgement until either a) it's been a while, or b) they nerf that battle. I show up for that event on rare occasion knowing full well that I'll probably fail.

It helps that I remember the first couple of weeks of this game back when everyone got routinely slaughtered by the Claw of Jormag before the majority learned the fight.

It's been a while. The revamp is utter crap. It's just another overrated addition to the world content that this time just happens to require a minimum of 80 people with moderate coordination, but ultimately just a lot of cheap tactics (mostly just having everyone spam frost bows and ember summons everywhere), and the rewards aren't really worth it.

At least halloween's coming up... That's actually enjoyable.

My server has got the fight down now which is good but I've been there for about 10 successes or so and the rewards are mostly junk.

I'll keep trying just because I'm a sucker for wishful thinking drop wise. Come on Mini Teq!

Oh and a friend spent 7g on rare swords, threw them into the MF with mystic forge stones and got Dawn. I dislike him immensely.

Yeah, I'm not bothering. Going through one of my anti-mmorpg phases, and quite frankly ascended armour is helping a bunch.

I got my 10,000 AP a few months ago, got a few legendaries. Unless something major comes along I can't see me being roped back in for the time being.

So I haven't really played much since I last posted here, but I still like to keep up to date when possible.

Some nice changes coming. Account bound dyes, legendary weapons, WXP (finally!) and ascended gear.

But really I just came to post this which I found hilarious.

Oh yes, some of the QoL updates they're adding look genuinely helpful. There's also how transmutation stones/crystals/splitters are going to be converted into generic transmutation charges in your wardrobe.

Apparently they're finally getting around to adding features that it should have already had.

Seems to be the MO for all mmorpgs. We'll introduce this functionality and make it an unnecessary hassle, then make it a QOL update in the future to make it work how it should have to begin with!

The feature pack was okay but transmutations are pretty lame now. There is no way to get (expensive, mind you) sigils off weapons bought in WvW now.
