Firstly, what is this about? There's nearly nothing to go on, and granted, I am generally one of the people championing creating info. It doesn't help when the yin to my yang isn't really participating either, and it makes me question him. Jaron and blue aren't really wrong to question our activity levels, but at this point, it's absurd that these are the biggest storylines.

I don't think I weighed in heavily on this before, but the mafia absolutely would not mute one of their own members, new or not. They would advise King, if he were mafia, to stay relatively silent if they were afraid of a rookie mistake. Muting is a stupid power, but it is running its course now.

Mafia can advise a "hush-hush" play style all damned day, but what happens when questions are asked? They must be answered lest a mafioso seem like a mafioso avoiding questions. A muting is a sure silence. And let's not forget I was suspicious of him before the muting due to his answers to Kikori's vote-prod. I will admit the muting solidified my personal suspicion of 123 (it was just too convenient/coincidental), but was not the original suspicion itself.

To disprove someone means they've proved something in the first place. What would you have me do? I've had a feeling about 123 being mafia from before the muting. That's the original point I was trying to make. We don't have anything to go on, really, so I'm not going to hop around with random votes. If 123 was killed, I'dda moved on to Phantom, most likely. You guys did feel she was the scummiest, though, and she turned out to be town. Which is another reason I'll stick with my vote. She was definately town, and was thinking along the same lines I was. Everyone else's thinking is suspect.

Does it help you to know I've had one of those little nagging feelings in my gut about you that only got worse with your logic against the attack on Spirograph? Would it help to know it happened twice in the same game, once intentionally and once unintentionally? Can you safely say no games before this, on the Legend's forum, or wiped from the 2009 (2009, right?) data loss that it never happened more than just this once? Or will you want to say "One time happening doesn't stop it from being an absurd play"?

Do you mean the original suspicion that he suggested something normally impossible (which, if it were true, would mean he's in a position of knowing more than he lets on) combined with a lack of desire to elaborate? Or the reactions afterward that you pointed out as bothersome alongside unexplained reasons of your own that you never voted for him on anyway?

This one. Sometimes both know, sometimes only one knows. Often times one is mafia, but sometimes neither are. I guess neither knowing is possible but it's not been done here. Jaron's obviously one of the pair. This next point is why my vote's staying on him:

In most games, when one dies, the other dies within a day.

This means there's a damn high probability Jaron is a mafia outright and/or is linked to one. A similar probability exists that he has non-standard win conditions, and a slightly smaller probability that his win is mutually exclusive to a village win.

I'll be the first to admit this isn't a sure thing, but I also claim that it's the strongest thing we have on any one person right now.

Quick thing I should've mentioned, for you scum: His win may very well be mutually exclusive to yours as well.

I must say that I am interested in this Jaron storyline, and the 'typo' was obvious to me as well. Apparently, watching and waiting for further development was not on Monk's radar.

At any rate, I am somewhat alarmed that Monk is willing to see the death of someone who (potentially) has doctor powers. Then again, I find it somewhat unlikely that Doc would put two such protecting roles in one game. But this is all just speculation. He could have tweaked the role to work like lovers and/or siblings with no night action.



I like this guy's style.

But seriously, you're not *really* helping your case. Also, kikori, it might be nice to let the person to whom I ask the question actually respond. Isn't that how things get done in mafia?
