Yeah, this sort of thing always happens. Consequence of my playstyle, and my role only sealed that. I recognize this.

Doesn't mean I'm not pissed as Fuzzy Bunny, though. Because I am.

Wasn't an active game, and I didn't really enjoy it.

Being told that you are the Jester and the only way you can 'win' is by getting lynched, therefore not actually bothering to play the game properly, killed it for me.

Obviously Ex was half right when he voted for me, and Sig was just a random target I thought was villager, but had enough suspicion that people would vote for him anyway.

Ah well

Yeah. When I'm mafia, I play dirty. I knew about Jared being reprimanded for voting for Sig, but chose to play dumb and act like the Jaron voting for Sig was a tell.

Ugh....I'm alllllways the last mafia. Meh. It worked out.

Well that sucked. Jack, this is the second game in a row where you've coinflipped at the end and lost. xD

Except I didn't coinflip this time. I legitimately had a much more difficult time trusting Sighence over Defeat.

@Jack
Monk claimed D2 and stayed consistent with his story throughout the whole game. He was also actively scumhunting.
Defeat claiming bulletproof should have sparked immediate doubt in your mind. Doctor and bulletproof on the Town's side is very OP unless the Mafia has something to balance it out. Not to mention that Defeat even admitted he is usually talkative as mafia. Defeat had 14 posts in less than 10 pages. That is extremely talkative.

This game was very uninteresting for me, partly because I was inactive. But I think Mafia itself has been losing popularity here. This game was just random lynch, random kill, -no thought or discussion involved- until the last day or two.

We need all the rowdy people back: Lander, Kikori, Penguin, and hell even Riptide...

I concur. We must lynch him now for the sake of the metagame, we MUST teach people that they can't go around claiming "anniversary" and expect leniency. Topsummoner.

The Mad Doctor would be the role that potentially balances it out, and what a way to balance it out; killing the people that you most want to keep around. More like it'd potentially throw the game way in the Mafia's favor. This would have been a much shorter game if Aragorn had played differently, or if he didn't grow suspicious of his own role after killing Dr Henry.

The town wasn't even close to being OP. We were up against the Mafia, the Jester, the Time Bomb, and we were even given a crazy doctor on our side to shank us in our throats with his rusty scalpels.

Consistent? No.

First he said the people who vote for him are probably not Mafia, because Mafia are not allowed to vote for him. What?? This would mean that the host revealed weaknesses of a villager's role to the mafia, which I suppose was the case all along. But it seemed like BS during the game.

On Day 2 he requested 3 votes to test his role, and nothing happened. Then it turned out he miscalculated his estimations on Day 2 and he should have in fact been lynched with the three votes that he requested, if all votes were from non-mafia players. But he'd later go on to say that he gets lynched with two less votes than what is normally required. 6 votes were required for a lynch on Day 2. 6 - 2 = 4, not 3.

On Day 3, out of nowhere, he pulls a tracker-like claim against Aragorn. Later admits it was BS. He was called out on that by several villagers, but not one Mafia. When I went over this during Day 6 I thought, it's possible that Sighence is telling the truth about his role and how the Mafia are not allowed to vote for him, and so the Mafia were trying to ignore this misstep because calling him out on it but not voting for him (because of their restriction) would make them look suspicious. Then I remembered that Sayaka had voted for him (or at least bolded his name, even if it didn't count) on Day 2. So I figured they could have "voted" for him without actually voting for him. It wasn't until after the game that we found out that Sayaka wasn't allowed to do that.

On Day 6, he revealed two more detail about his role: 1) He reverts back to a normal villager on Day 5. This is what ultimately did it for me. Had he revealed that detail on Day 2 or 3, then I'd have been far less suspicious of him. But it just made his roleclaim that much more difficult to believe. 2) Once a Mafia is killed, he would require only one less vote to be killed. With every new detail, the role seemed more and more tailored to his own needs and circumstances.

The whole time it seemed like he was making it all up as he went along. But to be fair, a lot of it had to do with how ridiculous his role was in the first place.

tl;dr: Fuzzy Bunny the Village Idiot role and everything about it.

Overall though, I enjoyed this game. :awesome:

To be honest either could easily have been mafia. I actually considered a random protect on night 1, defeat. That would have made it interesting.

@Pyro, yeah you definitely should have stopped me self protecting, or made it so that I killed myself if I did.

I considered having you suicide, but you self protected so early in that I decided the first time you protected yourself after someone else I'd kill you off. Then the mafia chose you.

Defeat would have learned your role if you attacked him. Jack would have found your tools if he protected your victim.

On the one hand I kinda want to do another, less twisty, game soonish, but we need more of the more active people. I felt bad attacking defeat for that rolefish, on the off chance it actually got something going.

We need for me to not be killed off Night One every game.

Alright I'm at a computer so here's the basic rundown.

Time bomb gained 1 kill per nightphase. Had he been lynched day 1 no one would have died. On day 2 he would kill one person. This increases until Day 4 when he automatically explodes and wins. Taking 3 people with him of my predetermined choosing. If he was lynched, the people that lynched him would have been killed in order of who voted first.

If he had been attacked by the mafia at night, only the mafia would have been hit. Defeat would have survived if they attacked him on Night 3, but would have lost his armored status. If he was killed by Zimmerman, then Zimmerman would be killed along with a villager or a villager and a mafia member depending on the day phase. If killed by the Mad Doctor, he would have been diffused. and no one would have died to his explosion.

Zimmerman could kill someone that voted for him but only once in the game.

Village idiot has been explained already. So has Mad Doctor.

Witch Doctor mutes people. Not that it mattered, because barely anyone talked to begin with. Nor did anyone question it when someone openly stated they had been muted.

Then of course Topsummoner was a roleblocker. If he roleblocked the time bomb, the mafia could safely kill him.

Paidea was a standard villager. This was in hopes that if one standard villager died, that people would assume there were more standard villagers and question why literally everyone seemed to have a role.

IIRC Jaron's variant would require a lot of players, and a lot of activity. If we are to go with it, then I suggest we take a month or two break from Mafia.

Aw, why? Don't be mad about it; you did the best you could. You can't expect to win every game.

To be honest I probably would have picked defeat over you as well. Defeat was kind of playing all game but not under suspicion, while you hit up Aragorn then later admitted there was nothing to stand behind it. I know it's to stir up activity but when it comes down to final decisions it just feels fishy.

Ditto.

I would have played this game, however I was across the pond. An interesting setup, too bad it didn't really get the play needed for something this interesting to work.
