In 11 days I depart for Juneau, Alaska! Heading up there for work and adventure and fun! I won't have regular internet for awhile, so I'm gonna miss you all! Don't let this place go bye-bye on me while I'm out! I'll do my best to hop on now and again

Oh dude I'm so stoked! Yeah, my best friend moved up there two or so years ago, and he just bought a house up there, so for the first month or two I'll be helping him remodel the entire place. I do have jobs lined up, as he does construction/remodels (which is what I do) so we'll be working together and I'll probably find some part timers since I'll have 20 something hours of daylight every day and just save up a shitload of cash!

I'll probably fly back to California to avoid that brutal Alaskan winter and then return next spring depending on how everything goes up there.

oh sweet! I dont mind that type of work. I hope it is really fun for you!

and for the winter, if you are concerned about the cold, why not get an operators licence. then you can sit out the weather in the cab of a snowcat or mulcher or something. winter is where all the work is!

Well, I'm from southern California, born and raised for the last 27 years, so I can say I've never experienced a *true* winter in my life. I've only been in the show about 10 times, ever. So I'm not sure if I'm up for an Alaskan winter quite yet...

hey sorry I'm so brief.. data on my phone is limited to 2gb a month and I'm always so busy I hardly get around to going somewhere with wifi. next time I do though ill post some pictures and whatnot as right now they are only on my facebook.

its been amazing up here there's more work then workers so I make a killing and there's so much to see! well there was my 60 second post from my phone. more will come soon, I promise
