People don't pay hundreds just to install steam.

This. I also barely ever pay full price for any of my games on there.

^^ I usually wait until sales to buy games. Especially since most happen around when I get some cash.

Well, statistically speaking, slightly more than a giant suckusaur. A dire one.

Same. 100% of my games from steam were 50% or more off...I still have about two dozen to play through but I'm stuck on runescape again D:

Actually I was trying to point out that the DRM is similar, but yeah, Steam is cheaper.

So, Microsoft spent the entire conference showing off multi-platform games and trying to hide the fact that their only decent looking games are also appearing on the Xbox 360.

WOW.

I love you, Sony.

Also, this topic is now an E3 discussion topic.

Microsoft HAS to drop their used game policy now that Sony said they won't be doing it. Otherwise, they're going to suffer big time.

That video cracked me up. Best response to a console release ever.

Nintendo Direct E3:

00:50 Pokémon X/Y (3DS) October 12, 2013

04:10 Super Mario 3D World (Wii U) December 2013

07:40 Mario Kart 8 (Wii U) Spring 2014

10:50 Wii Party U (Wii U) No launch date

12:50 Art Academy for MiiVerse (Wii U) No launch date

15:00 Various 3rd Party Titles (Wii U & 3DS)

18:00 Nintendo Wii U eShop Games (Wii U)

19:30 The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (Wii U) October 2013

23:40 The Wonderful 101 (Wii U) August 23, 2013

25:40 Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Wii U) Later this year

28:30 Bayonetta 2 (Wii U) 2014

31:20 X (Wii U) 2014

34:00 Super Smash Bros (Wii U & 3DS) 2014

Here are the list of titles shown in their 3rd Party Titles montage. I'm pretty sure the only Nintendo-exclusive title are Sonic Lost World, and Shin Megami Tensei IV. Scribblenauts is a Nintendo-exclusive in terms of consoles, but it will also be available on PC.

Wii U
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (October 31, 2013)
Batman: Arkham Origins (October 25, 2013)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut (2013)
Disney Infinity (August 2013)
Just Dance 2014 (October 1, 2013)
Rayman Legends (August 29, 2013)
Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure (No launch date)
Disney's Planes (August - November 2013)
Skylanders SWAP Force (October 18, 2013)
Tom Clancy's Splinter: Blacklist (August 22, 2013)
Sonic Lost World (2013)
Watch_Dogs (November 21, 2013)

3DS
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate (October 25, 2013)
Shin Megami Tensei IV (July 16, 2013)
Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure (No launch date)
Skylanders SWAP Force (October 18, 2013)
Sonic Lost World (2013)

Pretty awesome! I'd say they're a close second to Sony for this year's E3, or maybe even tied for first. But it was also also pretty predictable. To be honest, I wish Nintendo could have just done a regular E3 conference. >.< These "Nintendo Directs" are starting to feel kinda dry. Smash Bros could have been given a much better presentation.

Good thing they made a more in-depth video of Smash Bros!:

I love that they're bringing in the Wii Fit Trainer as a fighter. She actually looks pretty damn tough. Kinda reminds me of Zero Suit Samus, or Sheik.

My body is ready. Make it happen.

Anyway, apparently FFXV and KH3 are both going to be on Xbox One. I guess it's not that odd. KH loves to jump around platforms and FFXIII was on 360.

Either way my decision is made. I'm going to try to reserve a PS4 Thursday when I get paid.

Just watched the FFXV gameplay video. Is it just me, it did it seem to lack final fantasy gameplay..?

They said a couple years ago it would use Kingdom Hearts style gameplay.

If it's not going to use Final Fantasy style gameplay, why are they calling in Final Fantasy. It probably doesn't even slow you to summon again, just the Shiva is the name of the thing you ride all day long. (Oh no i didn't)
