I re-read it again, and now i feel quite silly, because i don't think any of those roles alert the other person that it was actively used on them.

Just make sure you read next time.

@Bluecoat ...pointing the finger isn't jumping on a train, voting for someone is. I'm suspicious of you now too, guess I'm jumping on that train too?

If you aren't casting a vote, you're only reinforcing my original point. Mafia don't like to start trains, they like to contribute evidence and join them when they're reasonably sure more people are going to be involved.

It's at the very least metagaming, which is bad form.

I would only consider the following cheating:
-Outside of the game, Player A tells Player B that "I will never kill Player C night 1 as mafia"
-Player C dies night 1.
-Player A comes out and claims to be clear, calling on Player B for confirmation; OR Player B repeatedly insists that Player A is clear based on the "pact" from outside the game.

This type of bargaining/outside metagaming isn't pertinent to the game and is different from legal metagaming because it isn't information available to all players. To be on the safe side, I would encourage all of you to leave private discussions about general mafia gameplay just that... private.

I concur. We must lynch him now for the sake of the metagame, we MUST teach people that they can't go around claiming "anniversary" and expect leniency. Topsummoner.

Contributing evidence is something everyone does, that's by no means mafia specific. Speaking of "irrelevant speculation", you accused me of demonstrating it, then used it yourself to label me as mafia.

As Top mentioned, Godders appeared to be rolefishing, that's what sat uneasily with me. That's not irrelevant speculation, voting for someone because they criticized an avoidable error by a player appearing to be rolefishing is.

I agree with blue's conclusions about Aragorn. He could be withholding his vote so if he was to ever change it he wouldn't get lampooned but usually if there is evidence and votes and you add evidence, you would add a vote or at least an FoS.

Not changing my vote, yet, as I would like a few others to speak up.

-sigh- is this Day One or something? Votes based on hunches, or just without any explanation at all given, metagaming, and Godders still being alive (which is rare past N1 recently)

As far as Godders is concerned... he is an idiot for thinking there were other roles, moreso for rolefishing, but I don't really see it as a Mafia trait right now, more just his own foolishness.

@Monk, have we? Had a lot of people fooled last game as Demon, how can you be so sure from a few posts under very little pressure than he definitely can't be scum? Bit of a weird statement that so would like some clarification.

At the moment, I would like more from Jackstick than a single vote in a post without any explanation. Multiple games he sits around messing about for the first few days, not contributing much when I KNOW he is a good enough player to have something more to add. If people want active, quick games, people will have to do more than place votes without reasoning and then disappear. Oh, and make jokes (see first post of D2) :/

I see votes going in all kinds of directions, at the moment. Frisky voting for Aragorn, Dr. Henry voting for Jackstick, I believe one vote for Godders... shouldn't we work together and come to one vote that we can agree on? Godders role fishing sound suspicious for now.

Ok, correction, Firksy voted for Dr. Henry not Aragorn. Sorry about that mistake!

That's a good idea, Pigeonrose.

I'm kind of curious why top hasn't been around much. So few posts out of him isn't what I'm used to.

I agree with Phantom, I think Godders slipped there. You're the only one really showing any tell. Although, I want to hear more from our quiet ones, Sparky, Kiss, and Scar. I would rather not make a mistake in voting this early on.

1. Metagame
2. Will you step down off your horse and quit being a tool to everyone?
3. I only vote in hunches now because when I use logic or reason you guys either ignore it or give me Fuzzy Bunny for thinking outside the box.
4. If you want to know about my hunch it has to do with ignoring the 3 D1 votes you had. Yeah, it is day one but you straight up ignored it, no snarky or wiseass remark. However, last game I FoS you and you draw immediate attention to.
5. Yeah, I metagamed....I suck

Dramatic bolding, oh no!

Also, I'd like to clarify my last post. Vote's still on you Godders, but if things get spicy I will wait to hear from you. Like a Nicholas Sparks story, but with less dramatic staring and sappy one-liners.

Nothing like a dramatic bolding to lighten the mood.

Also, Nicholas Sparks, really? I always knew you were into The Notebook.
