Spring is here, which means BBQ season is upon us!

Weather permitting, a bunch of friends and I are gonna fire up the grill and make us some nice, juicy man-meat. Ya dig?

So I just wondering, how do you like your steak?



Medium/medium rare for me, but I know some who eat it while it's still moving.. :\

i love a good medium rare steak. seasoned with montreal steak spice, and a touch of seasoning salt.

I prefer well done. Never had blue rare or rare before.

When I actually eat steak, it's usually medium well.

I prefer mine rare, but then again I also buy expensive cuts and high quality meat which makes a big difference when you want it rare

I agree with this. Supermarket bought "steaks" in the UK are usually a below-average cut of meat, and as such will not produce a fantastic rare steak. The Butchers however - is a different matter.. Fantastic quality fresh meat! Delicious taste, however you want your steak cooked.

I usually have it Medium Rare, Medium or Well-Done. I have tried Rare - but I was not as big a fan as when I eat it Medium Rare..

Medium, though almost all restaurants I go to cook that as Medium Rare, so I have to say "Medium on the well done side" to get them to cook it Medium.

I always go for medium rare, but then half way through the texture gets to me and I start feeling sick. >_> I have a weird thing with food textures. I always finish it though... it's just much more squishy in your mouth once you start focusing on the not-so-done part. ;D

Still tastes nice.

I like my steak medium rare to medium. I just love the taste of a medium rare steak, and then there are ones when I sometimes like it more on the pink side.

Rare if the steak has been marinating for a while, but medium if it hasn't; I don't actually like the taste of the red meat, but I love the chewyness.

If it's a decent cut of meat, I prefer mine blue-rare to rare. Otherwise, I tend to go for medium-rare. Though, I'll eat steak at any doneness.
