I know people have things to do and might be tired of the game and take a break, but a lot of old pkers from a few years ago like Hiei the PK, nomercybuddy seemed to have disappeared. Do they still come on these forums? And would people still continue threads now after the EOC?

I was thinking about those long before the evolution. But yeah, most don't like EOC, and jagex released it to make combat like pking more exciting

If FoD is going to get active it's going to be because of 07 servers. I know that I plan on starting a gallery soon.

Crazy.. out of curiosity just decided to check the old fod forum page to see if anyone was still here and tons of you guys have stayed. I remember pk'ing back with hiei and hojunhu and nomercy anddd who else.. can't remember names anymore. I used to be on the accounts 0o Mormon 0o and Austin White and D B L 0 C K ... not sure if those are still around. Good to see, though, that there's still a few friendly faces around the message board. What's this I hear about RS 07?

RS07 is a version of the game from august 2007. A full backup of the game was recovered and put back online for people to enjoy runescape without EoC style combat, grand exchange, solomon, SoF, or any of the revamped training methods for skills.
Basically, its just how it was when runescape was at its peak.

Just to clear up any confusion, RS07 is also called old school RS(OSRS).
There are currently 3 versions of RS available.
-RSC, runescape classic, is runescape from 2004(when RS2 was released) and is available to those who are members and have logged into RSC during one of the sign up periods.
-RS07 is the version from 2007.
-EoC, or the maingame, is the current version of RS. It has all the latest quests, updates, weapons, combat style, and skills and is currently being rewritten in HTML 5. This will support better audio, better visual, and will support touchscreen devices like smart phones and tablets. Once the update is released in the summer, the game will be called RS3.

Yep. RS 2006 couldn't be done because it wasn't as complete as the Nov 2007 version, which is what we have now. I recently looked up hiei, who looks like he got membership back as i can see highscore stats.

I used to be fairly active in FoD but then I grew up and RS stopped taking priority, also the game changed a lot and I stopped enjoying what I used to enjoy about the game. I lurk every now and then. The 07 servers interested me and I am now thinking of coming back but it is a lot of effort.
If I rejoin I will be sure to add some people!

When he stopped making videos he stopped coming by. It's my understanding from some of the TLP guys I talk to that he's migrated back to 07, but only to play casually.
