That's why we haven't gotten any recent comment posts - a sheer overflow of spam comments in the queue.

The most recent 3 comments have been approved, however. The sad news - 3/349 comments were legit. lol

Another fun fact, since we changed the site around and rebuilt the hierarchy of the directories.. by watching our statistics and where our name is coming up I've found atleast 3 or 4 OLD sites from RSC that were/are stealing our images for use in their own guides. In many cases, our exact guides were found on their sites (I cross-checked). The most recent is on.... rxclient (DOT) blogspot (DOT) co (DOT) nz where our images are still 'trying' to be pulled, though they are no longer available. (The rest of their images seem to be coming from global-rs).

Is it Akismet? Akismet kinda rocks. It's stopped 1,868 spam comments on my site (while only 1 of them was legit).

Anyway. I think we should add a notification within the board's index page to let users that ignore the home page (most users) know when there is a new article on the home page. Maybe include a link to it as well.

For those of you who have given up or are still on the verge:

On average, RV still reaches at least 300 unique visitors daily - not including bots or spiders. The most popular pages are an article on an anime card game and one of market man's photography articles.

I've been submitting our new articles and updates to a few rss feeds that then push it to blogrolls letting the world know we have published new content.. even though it is sparse in between now. I have excluded the forums from my web research to prevent inflation of numbers through us using the boards.

So if anyone has anything to post as an article, feel free to step forward. I can make a post of topic starters if you like.. perhaps get the creative juices flowing. There is no obligation here and it is not a 'its all on your shoulders' as past ideas became - so no need to get over whelmed and give up under the stress of being in charge of article submissions etc.
