Wow... well, we probably lost this one. I'm guessing we're at LYLO by now (or the jupiter crash at least saved us one more day). I thought Penguin would be mafia, for sure.

I don't know what would inspire the mafia to watch the same person they intended to kill, but it sure has worked out. Maybe you're not the watcher, just the one who carried out the plan. Gotta hand it to you, Landerpurex.

If your Balls! are still alive, then you also gain carnal knowledge about them, learning their rolename. You may not target the same player two nights in a row. You win when the number of Mafia is equal to or greater than the number of other players.

You are Lrrr, ruler of Omicron Persei 8. You are aligned with the Mafia. You have more ships than the Spanish armada, and as if that wasn’t enough, your ships are extremely powerful and in space. To ensure the domination of the Village EARTH, you can lend a ship to an ally at night, protecting them from death and roleblocking. You win when the number of Mafia is equal to or greater than the number of other players.

You are Kyubey, the Messenger of Magic. You are self-aligned. Your goal is to save the universe from entropy: to do this, you must recruit Magical Girls. During the night, you may recruit a player by granting them a wish: to kill or protect a target of their choice. (This is done simply by PMing me the name of the player you wish to recruit, I will them PM them with the choice of killing or protecting.) They will become aligned with you while retaining their original alignment and you may subsequently talk to them outside of the topic. You are immune to one nightkill. You win when the number of players aligned with you is equal to or exceeds the number of other players.

You are Mickey O’Neil, bare-knuckled boxer. You are aligned with the Village. You’re not one to throw a fight, even when someone is striking you a deal. In fact, you’re more prone to punching them out cold in one blow. If targeted in the night, you’ll punch the visitor out cold, roleblocking them for that night. You can only do this once per night, however, and if you have multiple visitors, your roleblock target will be chosen at random.

You are Cliff Hudson. You are self-aligned. During the night phase you may kill a player of your choice. You win if you are the last man standing.

You are Metapod. You are aligned with theVillage. Once per night, you may either Harden yourself or String Shot a player of your choice. Harden protects you from being killed. String Shot neutralizes that player’s vote (making it count for 0) during the following day phase. You win when all the mafia are eliminated.

You are Balls! Big, sweaty balls. You are aligned with the Mafia. During the night-phase, you can target a player of your choice and give them balls, causing them to have a double-vote for the following day phase. If your Giant Dick is still alive, your balls allow your target to shrug off other night actions directed at them as well. You win when the number of Mafia is equal to or greater than the number of other players.

You are aspiring Pokemon Master Ash Ketchum. You are aligned with the Village. You want to be the very best, and to this end, you can capture a target player’s role during the night, learning their powers. You can capture up to six different roles. During the night, you may opt to choose one of the roles, gaining those powers as your own until you choose to capture a new role or activate a new role. You win when the Mafia are eliminated.

You are Naval Master Commander Peter Longjohn Rodkins of the planet Alpha Xi Seventeen. You have the second silliest name in the galaxy, after Oobi Doob Kenoobi. You are aligned with the Village. You have more ships than the Spanish armada, and as if that wasn’t enough, your ships are extremely powerful and in space. Once, at any time, you may choose to launch your ships, completely canceling the active phase, day or night, and causing it to end immediately.

You are ace sleuth Sherlock Holmes. You are aligned with the Village. During the night phase, you can investigate a player, living or dead. If you investigate a living player, you will discover their alignment. If you investigate a dead player, you will discover the names of all players who visited them on the night of their death. If a player is killed on the same night you investigate them , the investigation will treat them as dead. You win when the Mafia are eliminated.

You are Metagame. You are aligned with the Village. You are the embodiment of knowledge from outside the immediate game. As such, you must always strive to justify your votes using information on that player’s playstyle from previous Mafia games. If you do this, your votes will be double. In addition, during the night you may learn the meta-actions of a player of your choice, learning who they have targeted each night up until that point.

You are the Village’s reckoning, Bane. You are the leader of the Mafia. As such, you are responsible for choosing the night-kill target and the member of the mafia acting out the kill. In addition, once, during the night, you may BREAK! a player of your choice, completely disabling any powers they have until the next two night phases have passed. (EX: If you do this on Night 1, they will be disabled N1, D2, N2, D3, N3.) You win when the number of Mafia is equal to or greater than the number of other players.

You are the God-King of Dragons, Bahamut. During the night, you can grant a worthy player the powers of a Warrior of Legend, giving them immunity to death for the next night/day cycle. You cannot target the same player two nights in a row. You win when the Mafia are eliminated.

You are Yorda. You are aligned with the Village. You’re rather helpless and are prone to being captured by flying...shadow...things. As such, if you are ever completely alone in the night (no-one targets you), you will be kidnapped and muted for the following day. You cannot be muted two days in a row in this manner. As an incentive to get people to stay with you at night, you’ve learned to use your super-amazing ability to open doors to also CLOSE doors. Therefore, you can hide away those visiting you in a secret room to protect them from harm. You win when the Mafia are eliminated.


Night actions are saved on my other computer, so I will put those up Sunday night.

Thoughts: The village had some very powerful roles that I didn't want to nerf for fear of them being too boring or useless, so I wound up making the mafia have a very powerful night-game, with two protections, a normal roleblock, and a one-use mega-roleblock. The intention of this was to force the village to scumhunt like normal, to avoid the power role reliance that comes with Upick. A number of lucky coincidences got the mafia off to a great start, most notably Lander's night one report of seeing Penguin, Jackstick, and Paidea at Kikori's house. This resulted in both investigative roles being immediately outed (and subsequently blocked), the death of a powerful and gamechanging third-party (who I was really hoping to see do some crazy stuff), and Paidea was able to play around what was essentially a guilty report.

Ultimately, I do think I still made mistakes in balancing this game, the big one being effectively giving the mafia a double-vote.

Faaaaaq my vote that was supposed to generate activity ended up being the one they piled on to win. Dammit dammit dammit.


Did anyone come to my house throughout the nights???
I chose Mickey O’Neil(from snatch) cause I didn't have a preference between being village or mafia. And I figured that that character could go either way. Top used my love for bare knuckle boxing in a jailer type role. If someone came to my house I punched them in the head and knocked them out. If two or more people came, I hit one of them at random, and the 2nd visitor ran away free.
However my role was passive, and it worked without me knowing. So I spent the days looking for any information I could about night activities.
