Seems pretty legit! It's just some widow whose sole wish is that I don't betray her. There's no possibly way it could end badly.

Also see where she started a part with a parenthesis and ended it with a curly brace? That's gotta be proof of her good nature. A scammer would try to make the e-mail look like it came from Mark Zuckerberg as much as possible, right?

No no no, youve got it all wrong. Everyone knows the Nigerian one is a scam. What happens in Iraq is legit though, I mean look, theres a link to a newspaper article and everything.

I'd be more inclined to reply and play along except once you do that, they add you to ALL the scam lists because then they know it's a legit, checked e-mail address.

My mom has gotten a few of these; one of them was from someone pretending to be the head of Facebook. It was pretty funny actually.

Just reply under a new email. It's not like they'll notice or care.

This is partially why I stopped checking my email.. I have ~3000 unread emails. >_> Hotmail and Gmail continue to increase their free storage though, so I'm not so inclined to sift through them.

Perhaps you should try getting a phone number and talk it through - just to be sure.

These arrive at e-mail accounts I've set up to be targets for spam. My main accounts never get spam.

Jeez, if you have that many unread e-mails, I would recommend doing the same thing.

Make an account for things that you want to sign up for but never want to hear from again, and make the other account your main where actual important stuff goes. You're probably losing quite a few important needles in that haystack!

My main one only sends me messages for available jobs, notifications when my paycheck is deposited, and college stuff XD
