Long time no see, but I have a question for you all!

I have the opportunity to go study abroad somewhere and I think UK will be my choice. They have 2 schools I'm looking at, University College London and Warwick.

I guess my questions is how are they perceived there? I see UCL is right next to the Emirates stadium which is awesome. In addition to all the other football clubs in London. And Warwick looks to be a small little town. Do you guys have pros/cons for me? Any insight is welcome.

My major is chemical engineering and I'd be taking mostly upper level classes (P Chem, Momentum and Heat Transfer Operations, Transport Lab, elective) if that is helpful too.

As it goes, they are both amazing universities to get into, definitely both in the top 10 Universities in the UK.

London Universities will ofcourse be a lot more expensive than most others (except Oxford, Cambridge and Edinburgh).

I'm currently applying to do a masters degree in London at UCL, also am an Arsenal fan so have been to the emirates a lot. I'm a little biased but UCL is definitely the better choice.

Both great Universities, but if you opt for UCL make sure you research the area first because living in London just isn't for everyone.

It hasn't been that long! :)

And thanks guys! I'm pretty sure I'm going to choose UCL at this point. I think being in London in general would be pretty awesome. Onward with the applications!

Warwick is a lovely town though, and it has the historical presence of Warwick Castle, which I have been to about thirty times.

If you like being social and going out though, opt for London. It is an incredibly busy, and massive, place and not for everyone.

Arsenal tickets are so expensive :(

I know some nice guys from Newcastle! Although saying that, there's a reason they're not there anymore...

Cambridge is nice. I get talks by Jagex at my uni. I've only been kicked out for harassment twice now...

Runevillage the forum is pretty well much done. Runevillage the group will eventually die, but as long as we're still friends with each other in the end, it's still a pretty big thought in our heads. Runevillage the family is forever, no matter where we settle down. If absolutely nothing else ever comes of Runevillage in the future, that alone is a pretty damn awesome thought.
