Sayaka seems pretty adamant in his position now. He believes that Kikori is mafia for sure, and that Henry and Godders are to a lesser degree, for tells that should be obvious. He's not telling us these tells, so that he can use them in future games. He believes we should be able to come to the independent conclusion that they are all mafia. We then have two options, he is Mafia or Town.

1. He is town, and is telling the truth; we should take everything he says at face value. These three have made bad errors, and Sayaa doesn't want to tell us, but beleives we should be able to find them. He wants to perpetuate an advantage over these three, and although we could debate the ethics or this strategy, it's not scummy morality.

2. He is Mafia. Possibly desperate after a failed night kill, Sayaka decided to attack these three with no reasons what so ever to secure a lynch. This is by far the simplest explanation, and by Occam's razor, most likely to be true. I doubt that he is bussing his team mates, as bring heavy scrutiny to half or all of the mafia D2 is a terrible idea, and I don't think even a rookie would make that mistake.

I am still incline to vote for Sayaka, though there is one difference that should prove him one way or the other. Top mentioned the irrationality of Sayaka doing this as Mafia, so I'll bring up the irrationality of him doing this as Town. If he is Town, these three should all have bad scum tells, and be scum. If he's mafia, they won't (I doubt he's bussing). So I'll play along.

Kikori, D1, you jumped on a joke and turned it serious, so far that Godder's got a good amount of votes. When you weren't even questioned about it, you jumped to defend yourself. D1 can be said to be scummy, but a townie sees no need to justify their action when they're not attacked, they know their own innocence. So why jump to defend yourself?

Henry, earlier today you tried to change the debate from Sayaka to Paidea, when there was much ado about Sayaka, and Paidea's only offense was lack of contribution. Why change it from this, and what are your opinions on this?

Godders, you've been here this whole discussion, yet you've only stated the obvious and made jokes. Why are you avoiding this, especially when you are his biggest target? What are your opinions on this?

If Sayaka is telling the truth and is town, all three of them should be showing scum. But if they don't, then Sayaka is the only scummy one.

I assume you're referring to why i did nothing when a lot of people voted for me Day 1.

Obviously i got a lot of votes from saying "Riptide is the entire Mafia, Godfather and Miller". Mainly because of the idea of the Godfather being in the game, without Frank's mention. It was more of an assumption that there was a Godfather in game, but thinking about it now, Frank probably would've listed the Godfather on the first post, like he did with the Miller, Doctor and Detective.

Also for Day 1 i wasn't really concentrating because i had a Politics exam i was revising for, so defending myself Day 1 on what seemed like a joke wasn't exactly why top priority.

I really hate when my name gets dragged into situations I have done nothing to cause.

All these long posts as well, JEESSSUUSSSSSSSSS only skim reading them at this moment.



Since the moment Sayaka first mentioned my name, I read on to see if anyone would actually bother looking through my two posts and see the clearly obvious mafia tell lurking within

To explain, I have had to write two essays over the past few days, finishing the second late last night. However, knowing how people would jump on me for being inactive ("oh Doc is usually active, now he isn't, this change in playstyle must mean he is mafia..." etc.) I had to get on and make at least one post.

At the time, Sayaka hadn't gone over the top, and was only gunning for Godders. I was definitely not going to just post a vote in the middle of a train and not add anything significant, but I was going to try to gather some more information. Haven't played with Paidea for a long time, wanted to remind myself of his reaction to being voted for to judge whether or not he could be a mafia.

I usually go by my gut instinct... and right now it just isn't screaming that Sayaka is a mafia, and that worries me slightly because he is acting really unusual but I cannot fathom why. There should not be any 'jester' role... Perhaps Sayaka is gambling here and WIFOMing himself to the mafia and doctor and town.

If he is drawing this much attention to himself but has chosen 3 villagers to gun for, the mafia could attack him to frame them. The doctor could counter them again though, as he is the obvious target.

Most hosts don't allow mafia to attack themselves, so if he survives a night attack he is confirmed villager.

If he has somehow gotten lucky and chosen 2 mafia targets (I know it isn't 3) in that list, the mafia will be worried and that presents another reason to kill him off, but again the doctor may continue his protective streak.

Or he is mafia, going crazy. Either trying to incriminate all/half of us... name 2 villagers and a mafia amongst them, 33% chance that his teammate gets chosen first the next day, odds are the other two will be safe for a while regardless of one being mafia. Or he wants to be killed off as he doesn't want to play as mafia.

Or he picked 3 random high-profile names to see their reactions, and the reactions from others, to information gather. Frankly, though, I feel that the percentages he is posting are a load of rubbish.
Or he has actually gone crazy.

While I am tempted to vote for Sayaka, i still believe that his choices of Kikori, Godders and Dr Henry as "potential" Mafia are only those because they are quite reactive when accused, so easier to tell if Mafia or not. Basically what Dr Henry just said.

I just don't think that any of the people listed is Mafia, yet.

I'm not even sure they are gut feelings of Sayaka, maybe he's just saying he has these gut feelings to get me to talk. It's like what Kikori said - I have a habit of self-incriminating, so he can keep applying pressure so i make a mistake, one which means i am Mafia. But i can't make that mistake because I am a Villager, all that can happen is that other players look for things that aren't there like Sayaka saying im Mafia for me just mentioning a Godfather. I doesn't mean im Mafia, it just means i was just around and sometimes people look for things that aren't there, and that's why Villagers get lynched.
