RVET Drop Party!

POP! The Villager's foot came down on the bright red balloon, revealing the prize inside.
"Oh come on! Just another bronze item," he complained, "I've been having rotten luck all day."
"Cheer up Cam," Kikori called from across the room, "You're not the only one. My luck has been jack sh-OHCRAP!" He crashed to floor and crushed a balloon with his face.
Cam just looked at the klutz in amazement. "How do you trip over a balloon?"
"Who cares, man? Look at what I got!" Kikori proudly held up a Draconic Visage.
"You have got to be kidding me..." Cam continued on moping, hoping to get a rare drop.

Party Information
Ladies and mentlegen! Welcome to the Runevillage Drop Party 2012! Get in the Christmas spirit (even though it's about Thanksgiving at the time of this post) and spread summat love. We want this event to be big, big, BIG. Invite your friends and tell them to invite theirs. Maybe even throw an after-party in a random guy's house.

And for this incredible event, we are soliciting anyone who might find it in their heart to donate to the cause. Don't play RS anymore? Spread around some of that wealth that's collecting dust. Get a huge drop from that last slayer assignment? Help a brother out.

We received over 600,000,000 geepees in donation from our last drop party, let's eclipse that goal!

Donations can be made to Landerpurex or any RVET member online at the time (but mostly Landerpurex).

About The RuneVillage Events Team
The RuneVillage Events Team is a team led by Landerpurex with strong support from Jackstick, Godders, Kikori, Eadwulf, and Bluecoat. Together, we plan one event every month for all of RuneVillage to participate in. Hopefully, you will enjoy this event as well as every other event we host, as a lot of thought and time goes into each and every one we do. So, it has been brought to my attention by several upstanding members of this community that the party room might not be the best place to hold the drop party.

I agree, to a point. The party room would do a lot of gruntwork for us, but it would attract a lot of noobs who may have zero interest in checking out the site. I have also been told by several RVers that they would be more inclined to donate if the party were not held in the fally party room.

What does everyone else think?
