I would have voted for Romney.

Did Romney lose by one vote in Ohio? No he did not. Nor do I care if the argument is used a million times over. Voting is fairly stupid anyways because all you're doing is voting for the most likable liar anyways.

I genuinely thought you were smarter than this. If this is really how you feel then I'd probably consider you incredibly jaded and disillusioned.

Besides that, you should care about voting for your local officials, senators, and representatives because those are the people making decisions that directly affect you, and one vote can and has changed history in those cases. That's not to mention there were five people on the ballot this time around, and a neat little blank space where you can pencil in anyone's name. So, to me, there seems absolutely no reason not to vote. A vote for what you believe in is never wasted.

But you're a grown man, and if that is your attitude you're probably better off staying away from the polls anyway.
