My mom drives a Santa Fe. Hyundai has really stepped up their game in the last 5 years or so.

Recently added to my collection of vehicles.

So far it includes:

1995 Plymouth Neon in Nitro Yellow Green (1 of 427)
1999 Plymouth Neon
2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 (now E85 powered)
1993 Ford F-150 (268k miles and counting)
2003 Jeep Libery 4x4 Sport (girlfriend's car I bought her)

Will soon be purchasing a bass boat, trailer, and a new tow vehicle for the boat/SRT (10's or bust next year). Oh.....and maybe.........a Viper/Supra/Trans Am :)

Recent shots before a big SRT gathering:

Purple car is my buddies that live directly behind me (he dates my girlfriend's sister). Custom color, on air bags.

Just ordered a big turbo kit (Borg Warner S256), Bosche 044 pump, returnline, and will be running E85. Hope to be at 400whp on a very conservative tune, mid 11's in the 1/4 mile. Next year, 550whp+ and 10's.

Burks. That's crazy.
Why not start with an SRT 8(challenger or charger or jeep) or SRT 10 pickup?

They cost 3x what my car costs and you see them more often than the SRT4. The SRT10 is fairly rare at least, low mileage ones can be had for $30k.

Plus I still get 26mpg on gas, 18 with e85.

I like how this thread is 25% general public and 75% Burks raging about his Neon/s. :weird:

I'm just jealous that I can in no way afford a better car right now.

that was may 24. your a bit late but idc. i wanna know how fast it is! i know for a fact you have your 50 miles already and its broken in :P

also, i am trying to save some money to start the rebuild of my 74 gran torino. its old and run down, but came with the original 460 V8 (7.5L V8).
basically, i want to bring it up to showroom quality with all original parts. for the exterior, i will get rid of a bit of rust, sandblast the old paint, and repaint it. and i will need to repair/replace the areas inside where the stupid mice attacked. and finally i want to rebuild the motor. so this should entertain me for the next decade haha
i dont want mine to be red like this starsky and hutch version.... i actually havnt decided what the final colour will be.

I'd love to restore an old muscle car. I just don't have the garage space. Maybe next year when I build my new garage (32'x40'). Would love to restore a Road Runner like my dad had.

The nice thing about doing a ground up restoration, IMO, is that there really is no "rush" to have it done. The car, normally, already doesn't run. So it's not like you're without a vehicle for a long time. You can take your time and do it RIGHT. I see so many restorations half-assed for the sake of speed over quality. I want my car to look like it just rolled off the line (except I'll have a custom color).

I might be able to hit the track by the end of the month. I've only ran it up to 20lbs of boost and it can beat my buddies 13.1 second SRT. I'm aiming for 26lbs on E85 (~385hp/475tq).
