I didnt think he was a bad person (woops), but his management of this site was dysfunctional at best. Let's put it this way, if he were CEO of a company, they would be out of business, kind of like RV. Luckily Ive been able to bury most of the insanity in the deep recesses of my mind, but lets just say there was nothing Hiker couldve done to surprise me. Hell, there were enough non-sensical decisions in the category of mod/admin promotions alone that it makes me want to shoot myself just thinking of it. And all the times we had an important issues that needed to be tackled and hiker would just ignore it hoping it would go away. So frustrating. He was a great figurehead but a terrible leader.

Is there really no way to contact Henner? like a residential address or work address to look him up or something?

Anything would have been better than nothing. There still hasn't been a good reason other than he supposedly was "scammed" somehow. But we'll never know how, since he won't talk to us.

Oh well. His loss. New, very active leader. Can't see how Henner leaving will impact us negatively.

I am so tempted to ban henners account on runevillage, i mean come on if you want nothing to do with the site then email one of our other admin give them the control of the site and paypal. its not asking much don't just say nothing and let all the donations go into your paypal where you can spend it on god knows what.

I bet if i stole money or never bothered to inform anyone and gave some weak ass reason about scammers i would've got banned.


i will say it now runevillage needs to trim some of the fat off, so many staff/mods we have and they only visit once a week there are even some that go 2 months with out comming to the forums, every time i am away for longer than a week or two i leave a message. we have a ton of staff/mods that do nothing, even me as a board mod hardly dose anything. At the moment being a board mod just means disproving about 1-4 accounts a day and banning them for being spam bots lol
