Not to mention even if someone did claim roleblocked, it wouldn't prove anything, because he could just tell a mutineer partner to fake-claim roleblocked with the same details he had.

Another thing that alarms me is that Monk hasn't claimed.

At any rate, Penguin, I gave my reasoning for voting for Monk. There was next to zero activity when I voted for him the first time. Now what? People are posting. Since then, he's done nothing to convince me that he isn't mafia.

And interestingly, if there were a town-aligned roleblocker, it wouldn't guarantee Monk's innocence like he (and others) believe. :?:

Yeah I'm really not sure why this bothers you. Last time I claimed it wasn't exactly legitimate, and now that I haven't you're suspicious? Believe me, if I had something to claim I'd have done so, and if it was something I wouldn't like you to know, I'd have fakeclaimed. Welcome back to my suspect list. Not that it matters since Scar hammered me (thanks for noticing that everyone posted, but not after I'd asked for the blocked to come forward).

Ah well, my heart wasn't in this game anyway. Good luck town.

btw I was seduced, that is for damn sure a mafia block.

We don't know its over! Monk could be playing us; there might be only two mafia; we might have a doctor. It's not over until the Doctor says so.

So the sun sets on a frantic day at sea, and the pirates finally decide to make someone walk the plank. Sighence steps onto the small piece of wood jutting out of the side of the ship, half-heartedly protesting his innocence, as the five voters prod his back with cutlasses, driving him forward. Finally, he reached the edge of the plank, looked back at the pirates and said, "Good luck!" to the loyal ones amongst them. For he was no mutineer, he was nothing but a loyal Pirate.

So Night Three begins, send in your PMs now. You have 36 hours (as I now have internet!)

Night Three ends.

The six remaining pirates arrive on the deck... but they had gone to sleep as seven. Penguin was missing! Half of them knew what had happened, and the other half were about to find out, as they quickly found themselves stuck through with a cutlass from one of the mutineers.

Penguin - Loyal Pirate - killed Night Three.

Mutineers win! (Aragorn, Top and Lander)

That was a pretty short game... which is a bit sucky for me as a host :( will let the three mutineers come forward and reveal what they want about themselves, will give a summary in about 24 hours.

If I had been Detective instead of Brig-Keeper we would have won this game easily. I targeted Lander N2, and Top N3.

Also my hammer on Monk was because of what I posted, plus he seemed suspicious, and at that point something needed to happen. Another no lynch would have given us another day yes, but we still would have had nothing to go on.

Actually, the way the night worked, you roleblocked Top by locking him up, and he had tried to roleblock Riptide (but you stopped him), and Riptide was watching Penguin's door and saw Aragorn go in.

Shame... if you had targetted PG or Aragorn you'd have stopped a kill.

Blech, 1/3. And my logic target, of course, was incorrect while my gut target was.

Ah well, I had fun being a drunk. Despite never having been drunk for real. :p

I was the Wench. I was a roleblocker.

Night one, I targeted Monk.

Night two, I targeted no-one in an attempt to checkmate Monk. Either he'd be damned by the lack of a second person roleblocked, or I could fakeclaim roleblocked to 'confirm' myself.

Night three, I attempted to roleblock Riptide, but was stopped by who has now been revealed to be Scar.

As for comments on the mutineers, I attempted to set up a Google Group initially, but for whatever reason we couldn't get it to work. So instead, at the start of every night Aragorn would contact me with his initial thoughts by PM, I would take those thoughts and mine own to Facebook Chat and discuss with Lander, and then when we came to a consensus I would give it to Aragorn for final thoughts. A surprisingly effective team dynamic, despite no contact (that I know of) between Aragorn and Lander.

Most terrifying moment: When Kikori could suddenly talk on Day 3. Luckily, the case against Monk already had enough momentum for it to not matter, but still caught me by surprise.

@ Market

Lander and I debated for a good amount of time on the Night 2 kill target, but ultimately settled on you for a few reasons:

1. You were one of the three town players who had not voted for Monk. Lynching Monk was our best bet at that point, so we couldn't risk killing someone who voted for him on D2.
2. Of the three (Riptide, Scar, and you?) you are the most 'unpredictable'. That was my reasoning anyways. You push unusual things and make the game more volatile, something that was bad if we were going to get Monk lynched. It could have easily been one of the other two, really, but I looked for anything to validate picking one over the others.

Far too easy. When a MAFIOSO has to create activity, there might be a problem with activity.

Fun enough game. I can't believe I actually saw Monk lynched, heheh. His heart wasn't in this one, though. I feel he could have easily gotten out of it.

Most terrifying moment for me was when Penguin called me out for assuming the roleblocker was mafia. I eas sure I would somehow be condemned. In hindsight, I think my reaction was a bit desperate...but at least I seemed to be able to deflect the suspicion back onto Monk, lol.

Who's next to host?

Oh and pretty much everything Top said was true. In terms of Market being the kill, we wanted to target non-veterans to make it seem like perhaps there were none on the mafia (absolving myself and Top of some suspicion).

Damnit, I've lost track of how many times I've been right about someone, y'all haven't listened to me, I doubt myself, die, we lose, and I'm vindicated. Don't get me wrong, I'm not placing blame; blindly trusting me can be a terrible idea, but I gotta say I'm frustrated at the cycle. Ah well, at least I know my instincts are still good, though I didn't have Top pegged as mafia; he was #5. Aragorn, well, we've spent 3 pages on that shenanigans, and Lander tipped his hand where I pointed out with my last post.

Also, Scar, voting for me and saying that everyone's posted and nobody's claimed they've been blocked when you know damn well someone who has since posted has been should be one bigass red flag there, mate.

What does this mean?

Also, it's like I've been saying. It isn't what you believe or know, it's what you can convince other people to believe.

Unless I'm misreading Brig-Keeper as something other than a roleblocker, Scar should've seen your silence on being roleblocked and at least done something, anything with that. I think I know what he was doing - thinking he was the only blocker and assuming my roleblock claim and thus my guilt from there. Iunno, maybe I'm reading hindsight into this a bit too much. Either way, I am displeased.
